Michail is truly the perfect host. I stayed on his catamaran for four days a couple of weeks ago, and it was a unique and unforgettable experience from every point of view.
The boat itself is spacious, comfortable, and designed in a way that ensures you always have your privacy. Michail takes care of everything: he’s not only a superb captain but also an excellent fisherman and cook. Every day he went out fishing and brought back fresh lobsters, crabs, and white fish, which he later prepared into delicious meals.
During the trip, we explored some of the most breathtaking and secluded islands of the San Blas archipelago. There was plenty of time to relax, enjoy the sea, and take part in different activities on board. On the very first night, we faced a strong storm with heavy rain and thunderstorms. Michail handled the situation with great professionalism and also managed to reassure me when I was feeling truly scared.
Beyond being an exceptional host, Michail is also an inspiring person with an incredible life story that he generously shared with me throughout the journey. And I cannot forget his two adorable dogs, Chewbecca and Taboo, who made the experience even warmer and whom I already miss so much.
I wholeheartedly recommend this experience on Michail’s boat — it was a 10 out of 10. Wishing you all the very best, Michail!

We had a wonderful time, definitely the highlight of our Panama vacation. We stayed two nights at the end of May(start of rainy season). The weather however was excellent and almost as accommodating as Michail our host. He cooked the most delicious food 3x meals a day and only used the freshest of ingredients in all his dishes. As much as we were absolutely enamored with the fresh caught seafood, we had one in our party with pretty severe seafood allergies. Michail, however was able to provide plenty of agreeable substitutions. He was also a fantastic guide that brought us to several gorgeous islands, including a natural Guna village which our deckhand Joshua grew up. The boat was quite nice and the beds were very comfortable, though personally I slept outside both nights on the mesh hammock of the bow so I could enjoy the starry sky. We were so worried about mosquitos the whole trip and I don't recall seeing even one. As relaxing as it was there was no shortage of activities to enjoy as well. Michail even took us spearfishing so we could catch our own dinner, though I barely caught a fish stick.

Wow, I can not say enough kind things about the boat and crew. They were so great with our young kids, making them feel like a part of the crew and helping them explore the boat and the islands. The San Blas are so wonderful, and the crew was so kind and helpful. The food was amazing. We can't wait to go back and would definitely book this boat again. The only downside is we rented at the end of the high season, and the boat was in need of a bit of TLC, nothing major but you could tell she had been chartered for the last 3 or 4 months.

It was a big pleasure to be the host of Lindsays lovely family. All Lindsay, Mico, Julian and Nicholas are such wonderful persons. Until now they got the most fish out of the water. A super friendly, clean and pleasing manner family. We had a great time and we will keep them in best our memories

We had a truly wonderful time aboard the Liberté cruising around the San Blas islands. The boat is spacious and very tidy, and the entire crew was welcoming, accommodating, attentive to our needs and easy to be around. The food was delicious and there was plenty of it! The communication prior to our trip was also excellent. I highly recommend the Liberté for your next vacation.
