We went to multiple Atolls on this voyage and our captain was extremely knowledgeable of all the islands. Same charter and captain as last year and we will be back for a third year for sure! Doesn't matter which islands you visit this is the best trip of your life!

We had a wonderful vacation and the crew members of captain Jamie and chef Heena were excellent. The food was delicious and we always felt safe and well attended to. Owner Thomas was prompt with communication during planning, but we had assumed that he was going to captain our boat and it was unclear what items would be provided on the boat. On day one we had to purchase our own beach towels and seat cushions and outdoor pillows to use on the boat. The basic fiberglass seats for dining and around the front net area would have been very uncomfortable without our added cushions and pillows. It is also very hard to keep ice for more than a day, with the small cooler that is provided. We were amazed by the beauty of Tahiti and our crew took us to the best sites. Thank you!

Tahiti, the Polynesian Eden

Tahiti. This exotic destination can evoke many things, starting with its status as a little paradise surrounded by the Pacific Ocean. The island belongs to French Polynesia and its figure 8 shape connects the capital Papeete to Tepati, on the east coast, without ever leaving the mainland. As boating enthusiasts, we obviously advise you to tour the island by sea.

The spirit of adventure is alive in Tahiti. The Polynesian territory extends over an area twice that of Europe. Your imagination does the rest and the first elements of your Polynesian cruise begin to come together. Renting a sailboat in Tahiti can quickly serve as the next step before concluding for good a dream program in equally magical places.

And if renting a sailboat with skipper has caught your attention, you might also be interested in renting a catamaran with skipper.

The opening of Click&Boat to professional rental companies (in addition to the initial private boat rental offer) is very good news. of a title for tenants and owners.

If we transpose this to booking a sailboat in Tahiti, you will find yourself faced with an enriched offer of new boats. Did a model catch your eye at a boat show? Do you want to find the family sailboat that had already illuminated your previous navigation? Click&Boat allows you to find the unit suited to your desires.

Speaking of adaptation, the sailboat fits like a charm when sailing on the turquoise water of the Pacific. Its ease in clearing a coast, going upwind, sneaking into ports and making the powder speak downwind are serious assets but also an opportunity for boaters, who can thus adapt their program according to the situation. their ambitions and their nautical level.

Lagoons with transparent waters are common in Tahiti. No way to go in circles since the surf spots, the ascent of Mount Aorai and the discovery of the Papeete market also punctuate your stay on the main island of French Polynesia. For surfing fans, we recommend Taharuu beach, famous for its beautiful waves and its black sand beach. Cook's Bay, located on the neighboring island of Moorea opposite Tahiti, is one of the most beautiful in the Pacific, if not the globe.

In Maupiti, it is possible to dive with manta rays. On Tikehau, the pink sand is a beautiful curiosity. As for Huahine, it maintains a certain distance from intensive tourism. A godsend for establishing an unforgettable anchorage.

When we talk about French Polynesia, Bora-Bora immediately thrills romantics intensely. It takes 140 nautical miles to sail from Papeete to Vaitape, the main town of Bora-Bora, an island which, like Tahiti, is part of the Society archipelago. It also appears on the list of Leeward Islands when Tahiti is in the group of Windward Islands, like Moorea and the atoll of Tetiaroa, formerly owned by the famous American actor Marlon Brando.

The best season for renting a sailboat in Tahiti is, during the dry season, during the southern winter, that is to say from mid-April to the end of October. Average temperatures are around 24-27 degrees.

The months of July and August, the school holiday period, are by far the most popular and busiest times of the year. With this in mind, it's often best to avoid these two months and plan your trip before or after peak season.

For sailing, the period preceding the high season, i.e. May or June or the months following the school holidays, i.e. - say September to October are the best times to go to Tahiti. There are fewer tourists, the prices of plane tickets to go to Polynesia are more advantageous and the weather conditions are still excellent for sailing.

If we had to suggest a time of year for your sailing vacation, it would be September or October. The temperature is ideal, and you can still observe whales, because the observation period is from mid-July to the end of October.
