Everything went good so 4,5 stars. Just had some problems with maintenance, but were solved with Mr. Nikos and the mechanics. We recommend this service.
Well where to I start... 1. ETD was 5pm. We eventually had the handover at 6pm. The handover guy told us not to ask any questions as he was very good at his job!. At the end of the handover he said " now the elephant in the room is that there isn't any air con" not what we wanted to hear! He said they had been waiting for a part that hadn't arrived. This was obviously why we were last to be seen! then said as it's now weekend, could we meet up on Mon/Tues so it can be fixed? We initially agreed but then after waiting for the invertor and the engine to be repaired made the decision not to have the part fixed as it was an inconvenience to our holiday route. 2. Asked the guy at check-in about how to work the inverter and was told it was automatic, only to find out later that evening that the boat didnt have one fitted. One of our party had to book into a hotel because the invertor was essential for medical equipment. When we contacted the base about this we were told to run the onboard generator all night which was clearly not practical. They wouldn't refund the hotel room costs. 3. While waiting next day for a portable invertor to be fitted, the starboard engine overheated. We had to wait for this to be repaired.(which, to their credit was done promptly) 4. Day 3,we realised that the portside bilge was filling with water as the automatic bilge pump had failed, we then had to empty the bilge manually everday. I spoke to a marine engineer I know and he told me to beach the boat and phone the base operators. I didnt do this because I was worried about the consequences to me. My engineer said that left unchecked, the boat would eventually sink. When we returned the boat to Lefkada on Friday, the man doing check-out told us we should have reset the pump, which he did, and it tripped again 10 mins later so clearly a faulty pump. Now the not so serious Door handles falling off, Shower door would not stay shut. Shackle missing off the stern safety rail/wire. Petrol can leaking fuel into the rear locker. This is not our first charter. All together a really poor experience and would not recommend this company
