A city of historical heritage
As the first military port of France (highly destroyed during the war), Toulon is a city full of charm with nice “bistros” (pubs) near the docks, where it is nice to stop by for happy hour. Also, the visit of the maritime cemetery is very interesting to see. Toulon is easily accessible by train, and offers a wide variety of navigation itineraries.
