Great boating experience from Palaiokastritsa, Corfu. Lots of exclusive beaches to visit which are completely inaccessible by land. Limni Beach was our favourite.

Great experience exploring Corfu and the surrounding islands. The best visit was to the island of Othonoi where we found an amazing sunset spot and Calypso cave+beach.

Was a fantastic day enjoyed by all onboard, we mainly wanted the boat for swimming and snorkeling in the beautiful sheltered bays around the East side of Corfu, Captain was fantastic from boarding to disembarking, nothing was an issue with the bays and anchor locations chosen excellent for what we required. Although the boat is 30 years old with some visible wear and tear the onboard facilities for the day hire we wanted was sufficient, enough room and comfortable for 2 families.

How much does it cost to rent a boat in Corfu?

What does this include?

For your boat charter in Corfu, keep in mind that fuel, food and drinks, a crew, and more are generally an extra charge. You have the choice to rent with a skipper, and in a majority it cost, on an average, $80/day. You can expect a fully equipped boat that comes with all the necessary safety gear and navigation equipment, to ensure a comfortable sailing experience. Also, be sure to message the boat owner before booking to find out the details or what’s included in the price of the boat rental.

Rent a boat in Corfu with or without a skipper

Renting a boat in Corfu with or without a skipper depends on your boating experience and the type of experience you desire. Opting for a skipper is ideal if you have no boating knowledge, as skippers bring local expertise, guiding you to the best spots and hidden gems while ensuring your safety and allowing you to relax without worrying about navigation.

On the other hand, renting without a skipper is suitable for those with a boating license or sufficient experience, offering full control over your itinerary and a more personal, private adventure. This option is perfect for those who enjoy hands-on exploration and potentially lower costs since you won't be paying for a skipper.

We suggest you to choose a skipper for a stress-free, guided experience, or rent without one for more freedom and adventure. Regardless of your choice, booking in advance, especially during peak season, will help secure the best rates and availability.

Before choosing the right vessel for your boat rental in Corfu, you first have to think about the duration of your holiday. If you’re only going to sail for a few days, it is best to opt for a daily charter such as a motorboat or a RIB. With the speed of these vessels, you’ll be able to see everything on your wish list in no time. For a more luxurious holiday, you might consider a gulet, and for an authentic sailing experience a sailboat.
