Yacht charter in Ajaccio · Bavaria — Sloop (2000)

Thank you Thierry for this week in Corsica. We had a wonderful week aboard Panou Panou. The boat is very well maintained by Thierry, who knows it inside out. This boat is very suitable for traveling with several people (kitchen, bathrooms, space, etc.). Points for improvement in our opinion: -We think we could have been given a briefing on the boat regarding its operation and minor details at the beginning of the week; this would have allowed us to quickly familiarize ourselves with its functions. (Batteries, dishes, water, onboard organization, etc.) -The itinerary could be discussed with the crew to make the trip more personalized. -Since Thierry's crewmate is afraid of winds above 20 knots and suffers from seasickness, we sometimes felt like we had to adapt to her. We therefore think it would be more appropriate for her not to express the fact that she doesn't like Corsica or the boat, as it really upset us. Note: If you want to go on a safe trip and enjoy beautiful walks with someone who knows the coves and nooks and crannies of Corsica very well, don't hesitate! We will have wonderful memories of this trip! Thank you.

Excellent week on board

We spent a great week with Thierry, from Ajaccio to Figari and back to Ajaccio. Here are some details: - Thierry is kind and accommodating (he took us in the annex when we asked him). His communication on board is sometimes a little direct and it can be surprising. - He is very responsive in communications before departure and waited for us until midnight on the evening of our arrival. Thank you - The sailboat is as described: not so young in terms of design but in very good condition. - Thierry raised the sails as often as possible. It was nice. It was not his fault, but in the end, with the little wind, we spent 80% of the time under the engine. - Thierry is a real sailing enthusiast. - We anchored every lunchtime and every evening in different places. It was magnificent. For our part, we would have liked to stop in ports on certain evenings. But we did not clearly express this wish. - The only slight disappointment was that we couldn't go to Bonifacio. I would have liked to have known from the start that it might be difficult because I was very disappointed. To get a place in the port of Bonifacio, you have to book several weeks or even months in advance. And Thierry told us that it was impossible to anchor in Bonifacio. For those who really want to go there, I advise you to anticipate this with Thierry. - I put 3 ? for comfort, because on a sailboat, comfort is never great, that's normal. But the cabins are comfortable. - What a joy to wake up on the water, in a magnificent cove, then read in the sun while the boat sails in the wind! Thank you Thierry for this Corsican week!

12 days at sea on a reassuring, very well-equipped cruise ship. Caught in the middle of a storm (the exceptional one of August 18, 2022), unplanned and occurring in 5 minutes, Thierry took us away from the Sanguinaires coast and fought for 1 hour to save our lives! Thanks to him. For the rest of Corsica in August, anticipate supplies for the moorings, berths in the ports cannot be found at the last moment!

Very nice cruise with Thierry back and forth from Ajaccio to Bonifacio! Calm and peaceful navigation and beautiful beaches. The boat is well maintained and well equipped. Thierry is a pleasant captain who was able to accommodate us throughout the stay and he really knows the region well. The winds were not in our favor but we were able to visit some very beautiful places. We regret not having been able to spend the night at the port of Bonifacio which was full (we must now book in advance) but it was an opportunity for a short hike ashore for all the crew which allowed us to stretch our legs. We were a fairly mixed crew and I was the only Frenchman on board, which meant that communication wasn't always easy, but without posing any problems. However, I think that everyone would have liked to participate more in the maneuvers and to be informed more precisely about the route. In sum, a very nice stay on a pleasant sailboat and its captain Thierry that I recommend!

Very personable, professional and sense of humor. Very flexible. We recommend Thierry for a trip to the Mediterranean.
