Description

I do not rent for half a day which corresponds to 3 hours of navigation because there are too many constraints. Please note the time ranges given by Click & Boat are theoretical. We are constrained by the tides. Given the location you can leave around 3.5 hours before high tide and return maximum 3.5 hours after. Look at the tide times to know what time you want to leave and return in order to schedule appointments. Moored at the pontoon in the outer port of Ars en Ré, this boat is ideal for Ile de Ré: - take your family and friends to lunch at La Patache, have a picnic at Trousse Chemise, at Banc du Bucheron or eat an ice cream at La Martinière in St Martin, - go water skiing, wake boarding or tubing, - go get some fish in the sluice or some crabs at Les Baleines, - tour the Ile de Ré, - Go to Ile d’Aix Navigation is made easier by the presence of a Lowrance HDS Live 7 GPS sounder with the Active Imagin 3 in 1 probe Approved for 17 people, I only accept that you take on board 10 people maximum. This is the number of self-inflating vests on board. The boat is regularly maintained and the 135 HP Honda 4-stroke engine changed in 2024 with electric controls runs like clockwork. the following latest works have been carried out: In 2024: - repair of the seat in front of the cockpit - engine change with a Honda BF135CV DLDU with electric controls for more flexibility - change of speedometers and rev counters - change of control handle to an electric version with trailing position - creation of MNA 2000 network and connection of navigation instruments to it (counters, GPS) - overhaul of the 2 electric inflators - bow repair below the waterline In 2023: - Repair of the ski mast well - change of control handle - Complete change of seat foams with open cell foams and backsplash repair, - Complete repair of the electrical circuit and control buttons, - change electric inflator pods - Change hydraulic steering joints - starter change - addition of gasoline water separator filter. In 2022: - change of the cushion seats, - complete cleaning of the sausages, - change of silent engine block, - change of high pressure pump, - Scale change, - Rear panel reinforcement, - addition of a GPS sounder, - Repair of central seats broken by tenants the previous season, - regluing lifeline plots or change In 2020: - Changing the chafing strips - change of table - engine repair. In 2019: - Regluing of all the tubes - Change of a seat on a sausage torn by a tenant (reported) - Repair of an upholstery whose wooden core had been broken by a tenant (not reported) - change of engine cylinder - change of the entire bottom of the engine, change of timing belt, dismantling, sanding and painting of the rod. Lubrication of all engine parts. In 2018: - redone upholstery, - lifelines changed, reattached - cleaned sausages. - throttle grip and cables changed. - repaired and reinforced ski mat. Prices exclude fuel but consumption is reasonable considering the 4-stroke. At the end of the rental, the boat manager brings 2 jerrycans and you pay in cash for the gasoline paid pro rata. The boat is rented clean and must be returned clean. If you do not wish to clean it, you will be asked for an additional €20. I left a mask and snorkels if you want to go see the funds. Great day out at sea. Very easy check in and check out. Different to many rental shop including Blondeau next doors there is no need to fill up on petrol in one of 3 harbours in the island before returning the boot; the owner does it for you and charges the price without any surcharge.

Frequently asked questions
What happens in the case of bad weather?
If the weather does not allow you to go out to sea, it is preferable to postpone the booking and to agree on a new date with the boat owner. For daily rentals, you have the possibility to subscribe to our Weather Guarantee in order to be fully reimbursed in case of bad weather (special weather report, storm, etc...).
Is fuel included in the charter price?
Fuel is not included in the rental price. Please contact the owner if you would like an estimate of the fuel cost of booking this boat.
Do I need a licence to rent this boat?
You must have a boat licence to drive this boat. The paper document may be requested by the owner on the day of booking, so do not hesitate to confirm with the owner the type of licence required for this specific rental (coastal, river, etc...). Please note that it is possible to book the boat without being the skipper yourself at the time of charter.
Am I insured in case of problems with the boat at sea?
All boats available on Click&Boat are covered by at least a mandatory third-party liability insurance (RC), as required by applicable regulations. This insurance generally covers damages caused to third parties, but does not cover damages caused to the rented boat itself. In the event of damage to the boat during the rental period, the owner is entitled to retain part or all of the deposit left by the renter in order to cover the repair costs. The renter may, where eligible, take out a damage waiver insurance in order to protect their deposit. As a general rule, damages are to be settled directly between the renter and the boat owner. In case no agreement can be reached, the matter may need to be referred to the competent legal authority. Additional insurances (such as deposit waiver, assistance, etc.) may be purchased directly on Click&Boat at the time of booking, subject to the applicable terms and conditions.
Am I experienced enough to rent this boat?
Before accepting a booking request, the owner may carry out a check of the hirer's nautical CV to ensure that they are experienced enough to hire the boat. The owner can also adapt their check-in to the port (training, help leaving the port) according to the nautical skills of the renter. Do not hesitate to discuss this with the owner via the message board.
