This will be refunded upon your return based on the number of liters consumed) - skipper fees (€100 for a half-day and €150 for a full day) Rental of a 5.85-meter Cayman 585, new in 2023. This vessel is the ideal way to enjoy a fun day on the water with family and friends. The boat has large sundecks for maximum relaxation and enjoyment. The practical awning will protect you from the heat during the hottest hours of the day. The boat is equipped with a 40 HP engine and therefore does not require a boating license. Boat rented via Click&Boat, one month in advance, with request for icebox with ice and agreed price of 10 euros. This morning there was no ice in the fish shop and they gave us 20 cubes, again at 10 euros. A cash deposit is required for fuel equal to 60 euros for a 25L tank which with a full tank of petrol at 1.85 (current price) is 45 euros. They get petrol from a roadside petrol station, not for 2.30 euros as they claim. "Eh but transport costs" sure.. 15 euros in black for two jerry cans which they also use for the rest of the boats. The boat was as shown in the photo, unfortunately it was equipped with an anchor which, in a 20 knot wind, like today, could not hold and "ploughed" despite the right wind. An anchor, right for the rock, but often the seabed being sandy, is not suitable. We were unable to anchor in the most beautiful places and where we wanted. Another incorrectness: I had called two days ago to ask to move the appointment or cancel it considering the weather (and I could still do it since through the app I was granted a full refund one day in advance). They told me not to worry, it was navigable. I trusted and I was wrong. Stay away from this company they don't even know what job they are doing. They only think about making money by scamming tourists. Goodbye!
The boat is new, spacious and comfortable. Too bad it lacks a fuel gauge and the small 25 L tank, we couldn't go very far... No advice on the surroundings to see and no anchorage possible around Castro Marina.
Beautiful day with the 2 fantastic skippers Giovanni and Pierangelo. Highly recommended.
