Crissi is a fast motorboat approved for 8 people equipped with a 5200cc 8-cylinder Volvo penta inboard-outboard engine the space on board is very large and comfortable thanks to the two leather sofas Crissi operates on the famous Lake Como, there are several tours all very fascinating: We will sail on the first basin of Lake Como visiting the most famous villas including: Villa D'Este – historic villa of the sixteenth century, today one of the most famous five-star luxury hotels in the world) Villa Fontanelle – In the seventies it was bought by the Italian designer Gianni Versace founder of the iconic Versace fashion house Villa Oleandra – famous for having passed from the property of the Heinz family to the home of the well-known American actor George Clooney Villa Pliniana – historic villa built in 1573 and famous for having inspired great scientists over time including Leonardo da Vinci. Now it has become an exclusive location for weddings and events. Villa la Cassinella – villa reachable only from the lake. Awarded among the 10 most exclusive residences in the world. Once owned by the Como architect Dr. Mantegazza, today it belongs to the Australian tycoon Richard Branson, Australian entrepreneur and owner of the Virgin Group brand. Villa Balbianello – Wonderful residence located on the gulf of Venus of Lenno with a breathtaking panoramic view, donated by the mountaineer explorer anthropologist Guido Monzino to the Italian Environmental Fund. It has been used several times to shoot spectacular scenes in blockbuster films such as Casino Royale, 007 and Star Wars. The Orrido di Nesso – a small village famous because a spectacular waterfall flows from the heart of its land with a drop of over 200 meters Isola Comacina – the one and only island of Lake Como on its territory some ruins dating back to the Romanesque era are still visible Villa Balbiano – Historic villa built in the 16th century by Tolomeo Gallio. Today owned by a wealthy Russian family, it is one of the most prestigious locations for exclusive weddings. Massimo was great. He was quick to respond to my questions and a request for a quote. Booked a 4 hour tour with him and he took us to different spots around the lake and gave us advice as to where is good to eat.
If you are traveling to Lake Como and want to visit sites around the lake you should definitely book a private boat and if you do you should absolutely book Massimo and his boat Crissi sul Lago. He is a wonderful skipper and helps you enjoy the beautiful lake in whatever way you wish to. We had a marvelous day and he was one of the main reasons, it was such an amazing time! Communication with Captain Massimo ran smoothly. He was very welcoming, asked about our interests for the day and acted upon them. He has so much knowledge about the lake and its surroundings, and he kept the fun facts coming as we loved hearing them! He showed us the little gems, gave us time to relax, we got off to visit the beautiful gardens of the museum, went for a dip in the water and were able to rinse off with clean water on the boat. Honestly, I would recommend Captain Massimo and his boat Crissi for a day at Lake Como. He is funny, kind and gentlemanly. Massimo, thank you for the stories, the fun and the laughter. We have made memories to cherish, thanks to you! Wishing you the best!!

Massimo was amazing. His wealth of knowledge of the area (not only the facts but the interesting stories about the lake) was great and informative. He was flexible with our wishes for the day and took us to a great restaurant for lunch. Our day with Massimo on the lake was a highlight of our trip to Lake Como. We will definitely be back and will book a trip with Massimo again!

We could not have been happier with our day on Massimo’s boat. His communication was excellent during the booking process and especially when the day approached. We had an excellent experience with Massimo on the boat. Massimo is a very kind man who tailored the boat trip to our wishes. He showed us all interesting spots around the lake and shared interesting anecdotes with us. The communication with him prior to the trip was open and clear. I can fully recommend Massimo and will book him again once we come back to Lake Como.
