It is located between Nice (20 km) and Cannes (12 km), and for a long time Antibes was the only major city between Marseille and Italy. Only protected by walls, the city managed to save historic buildings from different periods. Also, Antibes is known for its beautiful coast, which delights everyone making it the top destination if you want to charter a boat from a private owner during the warm days and summer nights. Beautiful places and restaurants, clear blue water ! Juan-les-Pins is next to Antibes and is also worth a visit. If you rent a boat you should for sure visit the Millionaires bay amd also head over to the island of Marguerite which has two really good (little bit expensive) restaurants - La guerite and tonelle! :)
Antibes was a beautiful place. The Lerins Islands are great. With Click and Boat, we had the opportunity to visit the island freely. The city was also great the old part of the city, with manners and bars characteristic. There is also the possibility to have a beautiful view of the city with a panoramic view of the marina, where you can also admire beautiful yachts.
Don't miss the Lérins Islands! :-) I can only recommend drinking a nice Chablis on the boat, thanks Philippe! Don't be shy, take your chance and ask anything you want to know. :-) I learned a lot about the boating license, mooring fees and boat taxes (yeah they exist...). Merci beaucoup!
