Hyères and its wonders

In the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur’s area, if there is a place where peer-to-peer boat rental allows you to discover things differently, it is undoubtedly Hyères. You should take the occasion of visiting the region to charter a yacht and navigate towards the islands of Porquerolles and Port-Cros (located only a few kilometers away from the port), while enjoying the perfect conditions for sailing that the Mediterranean climate offers you.

Hyères is a magnificent and surprising town that isn’t only know for the 7000 palm trees cultivated on its lands, but also for one of the most frequented points of departure on the Côte d’Azur to start discovering the secrets of the fabulous coast, which is full of surprises.

Located 15 kilometers away from Toulon (particularly know for its welcoming climate), Hyères is, in itself, a hot spot for peer-to-peer boat rental, but also a well-known tourist destination for several centuries. It is a great seaside region for all the keen botanists, winegrowers, floriculture enthusiasts, and even for those who only want to enjoy the sun.

The most renowned beaches and tourist sites of the Côte d’Azur are cited in this description. The most curious will be left with lasting memories after having discovered magnificent places such as the îles d’Or, the Salins, or the archaeological sites of Olba.

Yacht Charter in Hyères

As for the ones who look forward to rent a boat in Hyères, the popular harbour will provide them with all the possible choices. It will notably allow you to access, in a few minutes, one of the three jewels of the Azur: the island of Porquerolles, the national parc of the island of Port-Cros, and the island du Levant.

Sailing in this area will make you discover Islands, both wild and protected, and natural environments under constant supervision, especially Porquerolles full of magic places that can only be seen and approached by sea. From Hyères, you can also navigate towards the creeks, and discover (or rediscover) the Mediterranean coast.

All types of boats are available on our platform (with or without skipper): sailboats, motorboats, RIBs, jet skis, and catamaran.

We sailed from La Londe to the island of Port Cros. There is a lovely harbor on the island. Look at the maps before you start, the area is a national park with many limitations. But its worth to go there. Its a easy daytrip from La Londe. The mistral wind can be very strong in this area. But it will be worth it.

The port of Hyeres was excellent and the proximity of the islands give an interesting day's cruise. We travelled from Saint Maxine which was easier by the autoroute rather than travelling down the coast. Parking was not a problem as we parked right next to the boat. We didn't use any of the restaurants as we had lunch on the island
