Sailing in Friesland, We are Yvonne and Frans-Jan and we would like to offer our beautiful and easy to sail Scand Classic 25 to explore the beautiful Friesland. Friesland is characterized by a lot of water and beautiful harbors to visit and recreate. From the heart of Friesland (Leeuwarden) you can sail in all directions. The ship is well maintained and very suitable to rent for a week or longer with the family or with two people. Due to its good and practical layout in the cabin, the ship is very suitable for couples or families. 2 adults and 3 small children would also be possible. The Scand 25 is an easy to sail boat and has enough storage space. You will receive a clear explanation in advance and sail the first part with you. If desired, we will map out the route with you. The characteristics of the ship are: 2 fixed sleeping places plus dinette and cockpit seat Dimensions are 7.62 X 2.87; Height: 2.45 Running water; 2 burner gas cooker; Fridge; Toilet; Coffee maker; Sandwich iron; Good condition of the ship; Friesland maps available; Well maintained Bukh 36 HP Some sailing experience required. Deposit: 500,- cash at check in. Own risk is 500,- per damage case.

The boat is exactly as shown in the photos. The owner is very helpful and pointed us to the nautical chart app. It worked perfectly with the boat information we entered, and we were able to take beautiful routes through Gouw, Woudsend, and Sneek. There were only two of us, and it worked perfectly. We'll definitely do it again.

It was a very pleasant week. Pickup of the boat and communication were seamless. The deposit was refunded on the day of return. Definitely recommended. We'll be back :)
It was a beautiful boat for that price it is an old boat but well maintained and everything worked fine the boat is easy to steer so perfect for beginners like us because of its height of 2.45 m we could go almost everywhere in Friesland we had a wonderful week with the two of us I can recommend it to everyone and Frans Jan the owner is a good guy explains everything clearly regards Henk and Josephien
Friendly welcome, clear explanation and not too much fuss. Frans-Jan is easy to reach, the boat is perfect for a long weekend with two adults and a little one. Excellent price-quality ratio and the best way to get to know Friesland. Recommended!

Nice reception, good parking, clear explanation of the boat. Quickly on the way. Nice routes in the area, nice to steer boat.
Overall, we spent a lovely week on the houseboat, but as newbies we would have liked more comprehensive instructions, especially on the "traffic signs". The only documents available were in Dutch. Basically, everything you need for a week is available on board. However, you have to bring your own bed linen and blankets/pillows. Overall, the price-performance ratio is OK.
Top boat to make a wonderful holiday with, definitely recommended to discover Friesland with !! Frans-Jan is passionate and is very concerned with the interests of his tenants. Always available and super nice guy. We will definitely rent again.

The Smit family is very friendly, patient and helpful. Booking, handover and delivery of the boat completely uncomplicated. With not that much boating experience we were a bit nervous - totally unnecessary, a wonderfully relaxing week.
