Good morning, We are renting out our Beneteau Monte Carlo 42, with mandatory skipper, available from Juan les Pins. You will find on board all the equipment necessary for your comfort; an equipped kitchen, a spacious interior lounge, front and rear sunbathing areas as well as water toys (a paddle board and small diving equipment masks and snorkels). There are 2 spacious double cabins on board; you can thus take advantage of the latter to rest during the day or for a rental of several days and spend the nights on board. Equipment Engines: 2 x 370 hp Volvo Diesel - Engine hour 500 h - Fuel consumption: 100 L/H ** The rates include the skipper's service ** Fares do not include fuel; it is therefore to be expected at an additional cost. Overall rating
1) the skipper spoke only in French and was always on the phone, even while underway. 2) the booking said that the boat had a kitchen and two cabins. Once we arrived on board, the skipper immediately told us that we couldn't enter a cabin because the owner's things were there. The other cabin had the unmade bed and no sheets or bedspread. 3) The whole boat was dirty (we have some photos). 4) there was no water or tablecloths when we went up. only after complaining did they go to get water and give us two towels. 5) While sailing we asked to heat some water for our newborn's bottle and the skipper told us that the kitchen wasn't working. after we insisted he phoned someone, he came back to us saying that the kitchen worked. At that point we asked him to heat the water for us and he didn't do it. A very bad experience. It's the first time something like this has happened to us.
