The Guy Couach 1400 Fly is one of the first large yachts built by the renowned Arcachon shipyard, famous for its reliability and seaworthiness. This yacht spent much of its life sailing in the Mediterranean, initially owned by a Swiss businessman, then by a lawyer on the French Riviera, and finally by a French company director who moored it in a port near Valencia, Spain, and sailed to Ibiza every summer with his wife and four children. I acquired it in 2024 and have since undertaken a near-complete interior renovation. I also sail with my extended family in the waters around La Rochelle, where the variety of destinations is vast thanks to the proximity of Île de Ré, Île d'Oléron, and the lesser-known but nonetheless stunning Île d'Aix. Whether you prefer secluded beaches or more intimate settings, popular restaurants or upscale establishments, or tranquil coastal coves, there's always a destination to suit your mood and the weather! Its size allows for a wide range of activities: comfortable meals on deck, fishing trips without the risk of crowding, or even diving thanks to the aft layout which makes getting in and out of the water easy. Thanks to its well-designed hull and sensible engine, this yacht boasts surprisingly reasonable fuel consumption for its size, with a cruising speed perfectly suited to the distances along the Charente coastline.

J'ai 40 ans, originaire de Bretagne nord, je suis passionné par la mer et les bateaux. Je navigue majoritairement sur des bateaux à moteur, et j'ai beaucoup de plaisir à préparer les navigations (météo, marées, cartographie, recherche de spots en mer, de plages isolées, de restaurants sur les côtes des iles charentaises) Je navigue depuis tout petit, ce qui m'a rapidement mené à avoir mon propre bateau à l'âge adulte. J'ai progressivement cherché à me former, en passant mes permis de plaisance, puis les certificats professionnels de marine marchande. Parallèlement, je suis pilote d'embarcation rapide dans la réserve de la Marine Nationale. J'aime particulièrement les bateaux des années 80, de conception robuste et très marins. Je touche à tous les domaines de l'entretien des bateaux.
