We recently chartered a boat for a couple hours , and I have to say, it was an overall great experience. From start to finish, everything was perfect. Leo, our host, was simply fantastic. He went above and beyond to make sure everyone felt comfortable and safe throughout the day. What really stood out was the personal touch. One of our group members wasn’t confident in the water, and Leo kindly gave them a private swimming lesson in the ocean. On top of that, Leo provided drinks throughout the trip, which kept us refreshed and happy. The boat itself was beautiful and well-maintained, and the scenery was just breathtaking. An awesome bonus was that Leo had two stand-up paddle boards (padel boards) on board, which was a great addition to the experience. Compared to some of the other boat charters we looked at, this was fantastic value for money. We left feeling like we got so much more than we expected, and the personalised service made all the difference. Highly recommend this charter!
We recently had the pleasure of taking a private boat tour of the Lagos coastline with Leo and it was one of our favorite experiences in Portugal! From the moment we stepped on board, Leo made us feel welcome and relaxed. His boat was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped (including paddle boards and drinks), perfect for a few hours out on the water. He shared his knowledge of Lagos while taking us through beautiful parts of the coastline. Leo gave us plenty of time to explore, take photos, and have fun! If you're visiting Lagos and want something more personal, relaxed, and memorable than the standard group tours, I can't recommend this experience enough. Leo goes above and beyond to make the trip enjoyable, safe, and unique. Truly an unforgettable way to experience the Algarve coast!
We had the best time exploring the coastline, Leo was a great host who took us to amazing spots that we wouldn't have been to otherwise. The boat was comfortable for all of our group and we were able to enjoy both the ride ( which was thrilling and fast some of the time or leisurely and peaceful the rest of the time) and going on the stand up paddle boards. Overall, it was a fantastic morning enjoyable for all the family! I would definitely recommend it to others and we are grateful to Leo for the experience. P.S. we had booked for Wednesday but Leo knew the weather would be better then next day and so accommodated a change which greatly improved our boat trip. Book it Now! You will not regret it!
We had a wonderful day on the water with Leo! Our family of five adults and two children, ages 1 and 4, enjoyed everything from start to finish. Leo was warm and welcoming and took us to see the caves and anchored so we could paddle-board to the beach, took us to at a great spot for lunch and capped it off with a stop on a sand bar where we all got off and picked shells! We would highly recommend Leo! He is a very experienced, professional and responsive captain!
We had such an amazing morning out on Leo’s boat, he took us along the stunning coastline, showing us the most beautiful cliffs and caves from the water. We also stopped in a quiet, secluded spot for a swim and a paddle around the caves, which was very special. Leo was a fantastic host and made the whole trip fun and relaxed. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Lagos, this is the best way to see it.
We had an amazing time in Lagos with Leo. Even though the weather wasn’t perfect, Leo went out of his way to make the trip enjoyable. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and made sure we still got to see beautiful spots and have a great time. The sun finally came out and it was a wonderful time! The boat was very nice and comfortable. Excellent boat trip with great stop off points and a lovely host. Leo was great, 10/10 driving and hosting - drinks were a nice touch! The stop off for paddle boarding was super fun at a lovely location. Full control of the speakers meant vibes were immaculate. 100% recommend - thank you Leo!!

We had a great time with Leo, boat was large and comfy for the seven of us with decent shade. With the tunes playing through the sound system and plenty of drinks on board we had lots of fun on the paddle board and snorkelling.

Hiring a boat from Leo in Lagos, Algarve was hands-down the highlight of our trip! From the moment we arrived at the marina, leo was warm, professional, and incredibly helpful. Everything was seamless — from the booking process to boarding and setting off along the stunning Algarve coastline- stopping at numerous amazing rock formations and secret caves. The boat itself was immaculate, and incredibly comfortable for our party of 9. We chose a private hire for the day. Cruising past the iconic golden cliffs, hidden sea caves, and crystal-clear turquoise waters was like something out of a postcard. Leo was knowledgeable and friendly, sharing fascinating local stories and even pointing out secret grottoes and quiet beaches we would never have found on our own. We even had the chance to stop for a swim in a secluded cove — it felt like our own private paradise. The entire experience was peaceful, fun, and incredibly scenic. Whether you’re looking to relax or explore, this is the perfect way to see the Algarve’s coast in all its beauty. Highly recommend to couples, families, or anyone wanting a special memory of Portugal. Five stars isn’t enough — we’ll definitely be booking again next time we’re in Lagos!

My family and I went out today with Leo and had the BEST day! I booked this for my birthday because I wanted to spend the day on the water and chose this tour based on reviews. It was a great decision because Leo is personable, knowledgeable and kind. He catered the day to our family and made sure all of us were having a good time. We liked him so much we told him to let us know when he’s in the US to visit his sister so we can meet up! We had a wonderful time exploring the Algarve with Leo! He took us to the most beautiful spots along the coast, truly breathtaking. The boat is super comfortable, and we loved having drinks onboard while soaking in the views. What made the experience even more special was how kind and attentive Leo was not only with us, but also with our dog Lulu who joined the adventure and was treated like royalty. We had so much fun paddleboarding too! The price was very fair for the quality of the experience. Highly recommend this tour with Leo, we’d do it again in a heartbeat!

Leo was knowledgeable about the area, and catered our day to what we had requested providing many options for what we could explore. We enjoyed the beverages, paddle boards and friendliness of the staff. Highly recommend.
We had a great day out with Charles and Leo! Everything was straight forward and as advertised. Cost was transparent and all inclusive with use of paddle boards, snorkeling, onboard speakers, etc. The guys knew lots about history of the local area, best ways to avoid rough swell and wind. At our request, they arranged a place for us to stop for lunch which was the best meal we’ve had so far! They were friendly and chatty, but also allowed us to enjoy our day. Highly recommend!
A memorable 6-hour day with Léo, who showed us the Algarves by sea. We stopped on a beautiful beach using paddleboards. Drinks were offered on the boat and we returned at sunset. The captain was great. Thank you for this wonderful day.

We had booked a boat tour, but unfortunately, the weather was unexpectedly bad on the originally planned day – despite the good forecast. After about a 35-minute drive towards Ponta da Piedade, we and the skipper decided to postpone the tour to a day with better weather. The whole process was absolutely seamless and flexible. When we finally rescheduled the tour, everything was just perfect: bright sunshine, calm seas, and an all-around pleasant atmosphere. We would especially like to mention Leo, our skipper. He was not only very competent, but also extremely friendly and chatty – it was great to have great conversations with him, which added to the experience. Overall, we were very satisfied and highly recommend the tour. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

We went out on a boat in the afternoon. The sea wasn't in perfect condition, but Leo recommended the best routes. He was always concerned about us throughout the trip. We also can't forget that he's a very nice person with whom it was a pleasure to share the afternoon on the boat. A great skipper.

He took us to a stunning beach near Avor – utterly beautiful and a real insider tip! We particularly appreciated his attentiveness: He constantly asked if the speed was right for us, was concerned about our well-being, and had wonderfully cold drinks on board – perfect for this weather! 5 well-deserved stars! We had a great day on board the boat and accompanied by Charles and his partner, it was really great! We were lucky enough to be able to make several stops, including in a small restaurant at the small port of Alvor which was delicious. They listen to the places we want to go if this is possible!
