Yacht charter in Mandelieu-La Napoule · Bwa — 850 (1999)

Our experience with this landlord is very bad. The day started with our meeting in the harbor with Luca. He said that the deposit was 2000 euros while on click and boat it says that this is 1250, very strange. Then he started with the bad news that the donut and the wakeboard that we had reserved had not come through. This was among other things what we had rented this boat for so this was very mediocre. Canceling the boat was no longer possible, which is very unfair. After negotiating for a long time Luca would see if he could possibly arrange something. Then we arrived at the boat, it was already 10:30, while we had the boat at 10:00. Then I walked through the boat with Luca to check for damage, there was quite a lot, see photos. It is a very old boat and that shows. Then Luca could not get the boat started, so we could not leave. After calling again for 20 minutes he finally got the boat going and we could leave at 11:20. We soon noticed at sea that the boat does not go faster than 22 knots, something you should keep in mind. Luca said that this was stated in the advertisement, this was certainly not the case. Also, the shower does not work on the boat. At 13:30 Luca came with a call that they had been able to arrange a wakeboard and donut, we got the donut and wakeboard for 50 instead of 75 because half the day was already over. We were already quite far away so sailing back and forth to the harbor took us more than an hour again. The wakeboard and donut seemed good, but at sea we soon found out that they had given us a flat tire that was meant for children (the handles almost broke off after 1 time behind the boat, see photos). We were therefore unable to use the donut so the discount was also negligible now. Despite all the lost time, it was clearly stated that we could not return the boat later than 18:00, as the owner would not accept this. When we returned the boat Alexis Genisseux came to arrange the finalization with us. Of course he forgot the atm to return our deposit so he said he would do that later that day at 20:00. Of course this did not happen and I had to call them 15 times to get my money back. All in all a very bad experience and please do not do this to yourself and do not rent with these people.
