I would never rent a houseboat there again. The price-performance ratio is absolutely not right. The boat is quite worn, you don't want to use the "emergency toilet," and after driving the boat, it smells so strongly of gasoline that you don't want to sleep or eat there. The battery has to be charged every two days in a marina. The person who gave the briefing was friendly, but told me about so many accidents and breakdowns by previous renters, which had resulted in significant financial losses, that I had little desire to drive it. I also found the boat noisy while driving. It's definitely not a comfortable "cross-the-lake cruise." In short: This sum (rent, booking fee of Click&Boat, final cleaning, insurance, deposit insurance, engine hours, and whatever else you pay at the marinas) offers the opportunity for a better vacation.

Good for a first experience on the lake district
Doreen and Torsten are super friendly. Torsten gave a good introduction to the boat and locks and was always available. The Himmelpfort facility is very nice and the showers and toilets are clean. The lake is idyllic. Worth a trip at any time.

The boat has everything it needs. Doreen and Thorsten were friendly, competent and accommodating in the preparation and during the rental period. We were very satisfied and had a lovely holiday
The crew was nice, helpful and courteous. Super instruction on locks and great tips on steering the boat when docking. We'd love to come back.
