From a young age, he sailed on the Arpege (Hatcher) moored in Koajiro Bay, accompanying cruises to the Izu Islands, Nishiizu, and the Boso Peninsula,. He admired his father, who loved the sea. He began full-fledged racing activities with the Keio High School Yacht Club. He participated in FJ class races as a crew member and skipper. While studying at the Keio University Faculty of Business and Commerce, he belonged to the Cruising Club (KCC), which focuses on offshore sailing, and gained experience in cruiser races and long-distance cruising. In his fourth year at university, he won the Ocean University Federation representative race and competed as skipper in the World Student Yachting Championships held in Royan, FranceAfter graduating from the same university, he made up his mind to enter the world of sailmaking. He was hired by the Japanese branch of Lidguard Sails, and in the fall moved to Auckland, New Zealand, where the headquarters is located. After three years of training, he began his domestic activities. He travels around the country competing in races to support customers across the country. He has participated in many races, including the Japan Cup, Kanto, Kansai, All Japan Middle Boat and X-35 All Japan, and in long races such as the Fukuoka Arirang Race, Kagoshima Kazan Island, Pearl Race, Okinawa Tokai and the longest race, the Transpack from Los Angeles to Hawaii. He has also accompanied overseas expeditions as a trimmer at Florida's Key West Race Week, First36.7 and First40.7, and has also participated in the X-35 World Championships in Germany (Kiel), Italy (Scarino), the Mleges32 and Melges20 World Championships and the Audi Series in western Italy, mainly on the islands of Sardinia, Elba, Lake Garda and Porto Ercole.
