Things to watch out when booking these motorboats based on our experience: 1. There is a separate payment for fuel, docking, mooring. The listed price is only for the rent. The cost can be double or triple depending on how far and how often you will dock. 2. For lunch, opt to do a free docking in Sorrento and find on your own a resto. Dont take the recommendation bec they will take you in a secluded area, the resto will give a free pickup BUT the cost of each dish is 2x the usual price. You wont have a choice to leave since you are already there and used the boat of the resto. (It's like a trap). 3. I was charged 70 nautical miles for the fuel, 2-way from Torre Annunciata Port to Positano but when I checked and researched, it was only 7 nautical miles one way, so 14 only for 2-way. Even if lets say there should be a margin of error, the difference is still too big and you pay per nautical mile for the fuel. 4. I do know 10% is the standard tip being given in Europe, but it is still voluntary. I gave more than 10% tip (of the rent fee of the boat) but the assistant of the skipper was demanding us to give 50% more of what we gave. And when I said that what we gave was more than enough, he got angry and made the whole situation unpleasant by forcing us to add more. But we stood our ground. 5. When inquiring, they wont give the cost clearly, you will need to insist and ask for the actual cost. Otherwise, they will surprise you will all the added fees and overcharges that they will give when you are in the boat already. Which will leave you with no choice but to pay.

We chose to book on Click and Boat with an individual and not a professional company because they state that they are able to adjust time and ports as needed and we had a very tight schedule for the end of the day which official companies were not able to accommodate. Before booking, we had arranged ports and time to be picked up and dropped off with Gaetano and assured that the skipper was aware of the arrangements. Due to circumstances we had arranged for a tour from 8am-3pm starting in Amalfi and ending in Torre Annunziata. We were assured that these arrangements were possible and we agreed to pay for the full day even though we would be ending early due to our plane. The night before, the skipper complained about picking us up in Amalfi due to the distance and attempted to change the start time to 8:30am instead, it was made clear to him that we expected him there at 8am as was agreed upon and that was the time paid for. He agreed. The skipper did not arrive to pick us up until 9:10-9:15, he said that there was trouble with the original boat which is understandable. The actual time on the boat was lovely, and we stopped at a small restaurant for lunch. We did have to specifically ask for the drinks and snacks that were supposed to be provided and were not given towels but overall had a decent experience. After the trip was over we reached out to the owner about the possibility of a partial refund for the hour that we paid for but was not able to use. The owner was very condescending and said that the skipper told him he picked us up at 8:40 when I have proof from the skipper that it was after 9. He also stated that we should have counted 7am as the start time because that is when the skipper had to leave the port to pick us up in Amalfi but if they were professionals they should have accounted for that when they agreed to pick us up at 8am. Because of our hard stop time of 3pm to make our plane, that is 2 hours that we paid for and did not use, due to our choice which is why I did not have an issue paying for these hours, but the hour at the beginning that we missed out on was due to the company, which I believe should be good enough cause for a refund. If they were unable to accommodate these requests they should have told us before booking like other companies did. The skipper was nice but I would not suggest booking with Gaetano if you were hoping to make any changes the the plan he already has.

Our group of 4 had a great day with Danilo & his Dad. They were very kind and went out of their way to get one us sea sickness medicine. They made our reservation for lunch at a beach front restaurant that had a beach & loungers. I highly recommend Danilo & his boat. It was comfortable and very reasonable to charter.

My family and I had an amazing day with Gaetano. He was kind enough to pick us up at the port where our cruise ship docked, picked up cold cuts and beverages (at our request). He made reservations for us at a great restaurant but we changed our mind last minute because we wanted to go into Capri and shop instead. He didn’t flinch and took us right away to the port in Capri while passing us through the arch on the way. What a magical experience for our 11 year old daughter all thanks to Gaetano. Any other charter wouldn’t agree to all the last minute changes and would charge an enormous amount of money in order to make any changes. We are picky travelers (my husband especially) and we can tell you, you won’t regret booking this charter. Thank you Gaetano!!
