Tauranga is a recent and very well-maintained Oceanis 37 from the renowned Beneteau brand. With three double cabins and space for 8 people on day trips, the boat offers every comfort. However, safety and an enjoyable experience are also paramount. The boat sails quite fast, yet remains comfortable! We offer day trips and weekend excursions, primarily from Nieuwpoort and along the Belgian coast. Tailor-made programs and options to suit individual wishes are of course also possible upon request. A day trip to Nieuwpoort-Ostend and back? Sailing a challenging route off the West Coast, an aperitif at anchor in front of Nieuwpoort? With the Tauranga, anything is possible... Whether you simply want to enjoy the sea and sailing with your family, or have the ambition to master sailing with friends, the Tauranga is the right place to be! Would you like a tailor-made package? Don't hesitate to contact us so we can work something out together. In-depth sailing lessons and trips within Belgium and abroad are also definitely possible. Skipper Guy holds all the necessary certificates and insurance to legally transport passengers, which is not an unimportant detail when booking a boat! As a certified "Skipper Commercial Yachting" and instructor at the Altaïr Sailing School, I share my passion for sailing with great pleasure. Guy also holds the professional certificate "Master 200GT - Skipper Commercial Yachting." This means that larger international trips are also feasible. Skipper on a boat chartered by the client abroad is also among the possibilities. We offer guidance in Dutch, French, or English.

We were warmly welcomed by our instructor Guy. I have sailing experience myself, but not yet at the helm during harbour manoeuvres. My husband had even stood at the helm of a boat. Thanks to Guy's clear explanation and patience, after one day we both felt that we had mastered a number of basic techniques for manoeuvring in the harbour. We learned a great deal from a passionate instructor! Highly recommended for anyone who wants to learn to manoeuvre safely and confidently. We will definitely be back for a sequel!
