This sailboat has been completely refit back to factory new in December 2020 and all new hardwood flooring completed May 2022. Please inquire about per person rates for smaller parties and shorter outings out of Port Washington. This boat can be rented only for half day and a day charter beyond Port Washington. Half day price: $850 Day Charter price: $1550 The boat is based in Port Washington, Long Island and can pick up from Atlantic Highlands, NJ - Jersey City - Brooklyn - City Island - Huntington & Northport, Long Island. All ports of boarding require boarding fees with the lowest pricing in Port Washington. (Average boarding fees are between $250-$300. - Port Washington is only $10 per person. Normally during the winter months -November through May 15 the boat is in Florida where the boat can be repositioned between West Palm Beach and Key Biscayne allowing boarding at many points in between including Veteran’s Park at Atlantic Ave, The Cove at Hillsboro Boulevard, The NE 14th St Causeway Boat Launch in Pompano Beach, the Downtowner Restaurant, GG’s in Hollywood, The Miami Beach Marina, or Key Biscayne Park. Capt Mark grew up on the Hudson River & Long Island Sound and has spent 26 years in the South Florida area and brings years of sailing experience. He is a teaching captain, thinking out loud always making all other captains feel very comfortable. Captain Mark is an entertainer and avid musician and most New Yorkers have heard him performing around town or on the radio doing jingles. He never quit his day job as an engineer CPA accountant legal document writer, code writer and consultant in the daily news paper industry. Everyone will be thoroughly entertained. A standard four hour cruise in SE Florida includes sailing out the New River to the Intercoastal and beyond either north or south. (or from Alsdorf Park Pompano Beach and Veterans Park Delray Beach 1.5 hours to Lake Boca. Mark will be teaching other sailors tips and tricks for big boat sail handling and maneuvering. This includes sailing with fractional sail exposed on the windy days to keep the ride nice and smooth and very stable. Standard cruises out of Manhasset Bay including the skyline of New York City and sailing on Western Long Island sound where the waves are far smaller than the ferry boat waves in an around Manhattan. Given the full Bimini and raised solar panels covering the entire after deck everyone can relax in the shade. Ice-filled coolers are available, and there is always a stock of 16.9 ounce bottles of water, Crystal Light ice tea mix, and whatever alcohol & food you want to bring onto the boat. Cruises can also be easily specially catered upon request. The boat is a center cockpit sloop-rigged sailboat with in-mast furling main and furling jib. Aft steps give easy access to the water. Aft hot and cold shower at steps. The aft deck can easily accommodate 8 people and two others sitting on towels on the back deck under the shade of the solar panels. Often there are 11 and 12 people gather all together back there leaving the 8 person center cockpit empty. The large center cockpit can easily accommodate eight people. There is plenty of space for everyone to spread out on deck during a 4 or 8 hour sail. Full galley with microwave. The boat is fast and it does it’s theoretical hull speed of 8.4 kn with half tanks and flat seas with only 18 knots of wind. Several cushioned chase lounge seating. The boat can be repositioned anywhere between Atlantic Highlands, NJ - Jersey Cith - Brooklyn City Island - It is Based in Port Washington also able to serve Northport - Huntington, Long Island - Stamford, Ct.
