More timely and better communication would be nice. All communication regarding pick up was initiated by me. The boat was clean and a good size for a couple. Not sure how 6 would sit comfortably, especially in the choppy waters that we experienced. Due to rain and choppy water our day was cut short. Obviously no one’s fault except for the fact we got started late because they didn’t have the boat ready. We were actually on the boat 10:30 - 3:00, the last half hour waiting in the port for someone to come out to the boat and bring us back in. Seemed a bit disorganized but may be that’s just the way things work when you’re on “vacation time”. All in all a great thing to do but watch the weather, storms pop up quickly and it can be dangerous if you’re not an experienced boater.

We had a fabulous time boating in Positano! The dock was easy to find and the boat was waiting for us when we arrived. After a quick overview, we were on the water safely for the day. This was a perfect way to see the entire coast on our own schedule. Will absolutely do this again when we return!

The entire experience was easy and fun. There is NO better way to explore the amalfi coast then by boat and ours was exactly what we needed - comfortable, clean, smooth running and stable on the quite substantial swells and chop of the bay.

My husband and I hired a boat from Grassi Boat Hire. The app didn’t give the name of the company so we had to wander from booth to booth until we found our booking. We arrived at 10:00 which was rush hour on the dock so we had to wait about 20 mins for them to bring the boat to us. The boat was really easy to drive, we both have boat licenses and are confident in the sea. The size of the boat was perfect for the 2 of us. We drove south along the coast and stopped a couple couple of times to have a swim in the ocean. We stopped at Amalfi for lunch where a boat from the restaurant came out and picked us up and took us in to the beach. 5:00 is peak hour so we returned to Positano at about 4:00 and had to wait about 20 mins again to be taken back to the dock. I would recommend this to anyone.

Everything was excellent. The boat was in great working order, everything was on time, explained well and easy to handle. And the staff at the booth were very nice and made things easy during check in and return.
