Rib Zar Formenti Zar 57 Welldeck 150hp
Carrying up to 8 (7 passengers + skipper), this is an hybrid between a RIB and a speedboat. It boasts a deep V hull (some say the best for the Adriatic) and 6 air chambers, rendering the boat practically unsinkable. The boat has been solely used privately until 2025. A 60L fresh water tank and shower ensure you can rinse the salt off and sleep happily aboard under a Sunbrella awning, ensuring you are kept dry from any showers and out of the sun during the hot afternoons. The 130L petrol tank gives you plenty of autonomy. The boat happily cruises at 21-25Kts consuming cca. 0.9L/nm. The local cruising ground is diverse: popular pebbly beaches, secluded coves, sheltered bays and lagoons...seafront restaurants (where you can tie up in front), ancient towns and villages with enchanting architecture. At 55 years of age I have already learnt from plenty of my own mistakes :-) Although I am still learning, I can offer 25 years of boating experience on the Adriatic on both sailing and powered vessels from 4 to 14m in length and up to 700hp. As a professional mariner (Radio Officer in the Merchant Navy), I am very well versed in the Safety Of Life At Sea convention and its implications. I own both a 6m RIB and an 11m sailboat and maintain them (myself) to the highest standards. I am tri-lingual English, French,(having lived there for 12 years), and Croatian. I look forward to skippering for you and showing you the delights of the Kvarner region, that I now call "home".
