We had an amazing experience with Francesco at the beginning. He showed us around Capri and took us to amazing places. The only thing I did not like was that he was driving really fast and at some point we all got scared because of the way he was driving. We told him to slow down but he didn’t listen to us.

Worth it if you want to skip the crowd and have a more private experience. Communication was efficient. We managed to do a tour around capri and do stops at positano and amalfi. However we did not get to explore positano and amalfi as much due to time constraints. If we were able to do it again, we would only visit positano and amalfi and spend more time there. Overall, we would definitely recommend.

Far from the crowds - Sorrento, Capri and Amalfi can get so busy. We hired a boat and captain for the day. No bells, whistles and frills at an affordable price. This was perfect way to get a respite from the crowds. We ask the captain to take us down the Amalfi coast from Sorrento - all at our pace and agenda. Took a picnic and drinks with and enjoyed Amalfi from the water. It was perfect for us, Captain spoke only a few words of English - with google translate it was fine. If you are a traveler who needs to have their hand-held this is not for you. If you tired of visiting Italy and all you hear is other english speaking tourist and want to feel that you in actual in Italy, this is a great way to explore. Full day boat rentals are ridiculously expensive, but you will get your hand held, with Oplonti Charters they give you an alternative. For us this was just what we needed. Many thanks to our Captain Marco who made our day. Side note - Pick-up is in the Main Tourist Harbour (Piccolo). Since we were not staying in Sorrento, we were in more quiet Meta they dropped us off at Piano Sorrento Harbour. If you not staying in Sorrento, Piano Sorrento is quieter and might be a better connection point.

We had a disappointing experience. We had to reschedule our charter due to weather issues and they did accommodate that however a few key issues - we were charged 200 euro for fuel from Sorrento to positano (no other stops). We were quoted MUCH lower estimations before our trip - our guide was not able to understand any English and it was very difficult to talk to him on the boat to explain what we wanted to do - we were told we could go from sorrento to positano and capri in one day (not docking in capri but just driving around the island) and all we got to do was go to positano and back on a full day trip. I would advise not attempting a similar trip to us. Instead take a boat from positano if you want to see the amalfi coast and capri.

Prior to renting, the communication was amazing! I had all of my questions answered and they even gifted us a bottle of Prosecco as it was my partners birthday. We had such an amazing day together and our skipper was lovely- he knew all the best secluded spots and came up with a plan B when adverse weather conditions meant we couldn’t do our original plan. It was amazing we swam in so many secluded spots!

Easy booking. Friendly Skyper, smiling and knowing the points of interest well (waterfall, islet, creeks for swimming, cave, etc.) Very good management of the stop in Positano. In short, a beautiful day. We highly recommend. Marie Helene

The captain had an incident at the time of boarding, was in a bad mood the rest of the day and also did not respect the 8 hours of the contracted service.
