Andreas couldn’t have been a better captain and guide for our first adventure into the archipelago! We booked the boat with only 24 hours notice and Andreas was extremely communicative and helpful from the outset. He even collected us from the dock at our rental home near Vaxholm! With two babies on board, we were looking for a relaxed day out with a nice lunch stop, some swimming spots, and to see some of the beauty of the islands. The boat was exactly what we were looking for with enough space to all sit outside on the back deck, as well as a bed in the cabin where the babies were able to sleep and rest in the shade. Overall, would highly recommend a trip with Andreas!
We had a lovely day exploring the archipelago. The boat was comfortable and clean. The welcome Prosecco was lovely to start our day. We really enjoyed the lunch that Andreas arranged at one of the islands on the way.
Andreas was a wonderful skipper and guide for an afternoon trip around the archipelago. He provided some great insights and let us just enjoy the beautiful scenery and ride most of the ride. He provided some great snacks, waters and beers. His dog Ralph made the trip! Highly recommend booking with him.
Our family of four had a great day with Andreas. Excellent in every way. We were also thrilled to have puppy Ralph on board for his maiden voyage and know he will make a phenomenal addition to the outings going forward. Thank you Andreas and Ralph for the perfect time in the Archepeligos!
Really awesome day with Andreas - he is an impeccable guide, with a great boat, and a very hospitable attitude!
The Stockholm archipelago is a beautiful and fascinating place, and there's no better way to experience it than on a boat tour. There are many different tours to choose from, but I highly recommend the one offered by Captain Andreas on the Nimbus 26 Epoca. The boat was perfect for our party of four and had comfortable and safe seating, a galley/refrigerator, bathroom, changing area, swim deck and ladder. Andreas had cold prosecco, beer, water and snacks for us and we were also able to bring our own beverages as well. This tour takes you on a 7-hour journey through the heart of the archipelago, past hundreds of islands and islets. Along the way, Andreas will point out some of the most interesting sights, such as historical landmarks, celebrity summer houses, secret swimming holes, beautiful topography, marine life, etc. In addition to the stunning scenery, you'll also learn a lot about the history and culture of the archipelago. Captain Andreas will share interesting facts and stories about the islands and arrange a lunch stop at one of the many yacht clubs or waterside restaurants where you'll enjoy local cuisine and mix with the locals. Our party of four had a great time on this tour, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Stockholm. It's a fun, informative, and relaxing way to see one of the most beautiful places in Sweden. Here are some of the pros and cons of the tour: Pros: Stunning scenery Informative guide and expert boatman Relaxing, fun and safe atmosphere for the whole family Good value for money Great for ages 8-80 Cons: Tours book up fast in the summer months so book early to ensure you get your desired day. The tour launches from a marina that's about 40 minutes away from downtown Stockholm. No matter how much time you spend on the water you'll wish you had more time to enjoy. Overall, I highly recommend the Archipelago Tour and Captain Andreas as a fun and informative way to see the Stockholm archipelago. It's a great way to learn about the history and culture of the area, and you're sure to have a memorable time. Here are some tips for making the most of your tour: Bring your camera to capture the stunning scenery. Wear comfortable clothes, bring a bathing suit for swimming. Bring a hat and sunscreen, as the sun can be strong in the archipelago. If you're prone to seasickness, take some medication before the tour, however the waters are likely to be calm. I hope you enjoy your tour of the Stockholm archipelago as much as we did!
We had an amazing day with Andreas!!! He picked us up in downtown Stockholm, and guided us expertly through the archipelago and selected a wonderful lunch spot! Andreas grew up on these waters, and his knowledge of Stockholm and the archipelago is phenomenal, spending a day with him on the water, was one of the highlights of our vacation. 10 out of 10 Highly Recommend
