The sailboat was pretty okay, Tomasz still needs to do a few improvements and replace a few parts that are leaking.
This is the second time I've rented a sailboat from Tomek, and it certainly won't be the last. As always, the yacht rental went smoothly. Michał took the time to show us all the equipment on the Carter 33 and helped us set everything up. The Carter 33 sailboat is fantastic in every way. It's large—10 meters—and agile and very safe. We sailed with four people, and there was plenty of space. Everything you could want is inside: GPS, radar, a gas stove, a sea toilet, and even a TV mounted on the wall, as if that wasn't enough for you. Everything works as it should. It's clean and tidy. What more can I say? Renting a yacht from Tomek is a pure pleasure. You won't find a better owner. I highly recommend him. Arek
A fitting on the boat had rusted through (not visible from the outside) and blew out in our faces while we were sailing. The engine also had problems. As a result, we had to be towed to the nearest harbor. There, it was clear that the fitting had been rusted through for a long time and that it was due to natural wear and tear. Nevertheless, Tomasz kept our deposit and didn't refund the rest of it (excluding the cost of spare parts). We expected fair treatment, but that wasn't the case here.
I am very happy with the charter. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a yacht at an affordable price.
The yacht is very well prepared for sailing by the Owner. Every true sailor who has the safety of the crew first and foremost will appreciate the AIS system - two-way (they see you and you see them too - invaluable when sailing at night) connected to Navionics navigation. For each crew member - automatic life jacket with harness - new. The yacht behaves very well even in winds reaching 7 Btf. The engine is a good old and reliable diesel - power greater than the size of the yacht, which provides reserve and certainty during maneuvers even in difficult conditions. Of course, the yacht is already old and it is not a very comfortable tourist Bavaria - but for a true sailor it is such a gem. In addition, great communication with the Owner, what is additionally needed, no problem - he will deliver, equip. Therefore, the rating must be the highest.
it is a good type of yacht for sailing, brave and strong in construction. Interior renovation is planned and then it will be a real classic.
The wind was not good, apart from that it was a great trip with Captain Michał
Everything was OK, the transaction was uncomplicated. The boat is no longer new, but the price-performance ratio is top notch.
The yacht was very well equipped. The owner was very friendly and reliable. I would like to charter with him again.
Tomasz is a very nice and committed charterer. Everything went well and smoothly. A great sailing area!
