My girlfriend and I had 3 wonderful days out at sea. The first two days we set sail for the islands Marguerite and Honorat. The third day we travelled along the coastline south of the harbour. The boat had everything we needed and Jean Claude went above and beyond to make it as pleasant as possible. He showed the ropes, dos and don’ts and even made our beds in the berth. Despite the language barrier, you can tell that JC is a funny guy, easy going and with a warm heart. I can strongly recommend renting one of his boats.

Very pleasant half day on board with Jean-Claude, I recommend it
The boat is very old, and the maintenance and inspection required before entrusting the boat to a safe owner is far too limited! I must have been unlucky when I took it on August 15th and 16th, 2025. The depth sounder was broken, as was the starboard navigation light. Even though I had told the owner that I would be crossing the Gulf of Napoule at night, I had to dismantle and repair this light. For one day of sailing, out of two booked (I chose not to sail the second day), from a comfort point of view, for vacationers who are only there to make the most of their day, the shower and dining table were broken. Of course, these elements can break during other rentals, but for the high season, you can have some spare equipment just in case! As for the rest, the boat is very slow, but the description, on this point, is accurate.

The gentleman was very welcoming, and the boat was practical with children, as there was plenty of shade and a place for them to sleep. The only downside to our day was the swell and the crowds near the islands.

Boat for leisurely cruising and easy anchorages along the crics or islands. Easy to maneuver and economical in consumption. Friendly and very available owner, everything is simple. In short, we had a good day sailing aboard this boat.
Having already rented this same type of boat, this one is much quieter and faster by comparison. Starts at the quarter turn, no problem with the electric windlass (very practical). Spacious rear, we can fit 6 adults on the camping table with one person sitting on the engine hood.
Jean Claude is very pleasant and attentive, he even helped us get out of the port, I recommend without hesitation

Just a perfect day with Jean Claude. We dropped anchor in several places, the water was sublime. In addition, thanks to him we learned that there were statues underwater. My family was more than delighted and my daughters were able to drive the boat. I highly recommend this charming boat as well as its adorable owner JC ?
