Excellent sea keeping. The vehicle allows comfortable and safe navigation. The dinghy has a length of 7.5 meters and has a 225 hp Mercury engine and can hold up to 10 passengers. Suggested tour by dinghy to Favignana and Levanzo We will begin our dinghy excursion to Favignana, starting from Trapani towards the wonderful Cala Azzurra cove, one of the most beautiful on the island; then we will go to Bue Marino, with its tuff quarries overlooking the waters making the scenery breathtaking; Cala Rossa, with its crystalline waters that merge with the sky; we will not fail to visit the Grotta degli Innamorati, where you can dive in and admire the contrast of colors generated by the blue of the sea and the sunlight which is reflected in a wonderful play of lights. At 13.00 we will stop on the island of Favignana where you can taste typical products, visit the town and the ancient "Florio" tuna fishery. In the afternoon the dinghy excursion will turn towards the east coast of Levanzo where Cala Fredda awaits us with waters so blue that they will hardly seem real to you, all immersed in a rugged and wild nature ... you will think you are in paradise! We will continue to Cala Minnola where the sea has a dazzling emerald green characterized by rock, sand and posidonia. Among the divers Cala Minnola is known for the presence of a wreck of a Roman cargo ship, loaded with wine amphorae, dating back to the first half of the 1st century. B.C. We were a group of 7 people and were able to book out tour with Donato just one day in advance. The whole booking went without incidents and Donato was really friendly and gave us all the informationen needed for the trip. At the day of the tripp we were 30min late because of the trafic and Donato and Giuseppe (our skipper) waited of us, even tough there where 4 other people on the boat with us. We were really grateful for that. The whole expirience with Giuseppe was great. We could spend a beautiful day on the boat. Giuseppe was really kind and friendly. As soon as we were on our first snorkling spot, he offered us something to drink (water and Prosecco) and a snack to eat. We visited 3 snkorkling spots and then were offered a delicious lunch. afterwards we were able to explore the village Favignana for an hour and a half. Then we drove to the last snorklingspot at the coast of the isola di Levanzo. This was the most beautiful snorklingspot of the day and we stayed there for an hour and a half. Thank you Donate and Giuseppe for this Trip, it was the highlight of our week in sicily and the perfect ending, as it was our last day.
We are a family of 4 from Australia and and our trip with Donato around the Egadi Islands was the highlight of our 4 week trip in Italy. Donato was professional, kind and friendly and we felt that we were in very safe hands with our two daughters aged 10 and 12. He was enthusiastic and happy to tell us interesting information about the islands using a translator app. A simple but delicious lunch was provided which gave us extra time to explore the islands. Donato also provided lovely wine and premium beer which was unexpected but welcome as the sun was going down on a hot day. We brought our own, but there are rock shoes and snorkels on the boat. It was a full day and we did not for a second feel that there was any rush to get back. We visited a variety of swimming spots and two islands. A wonderful day. Thank you Donato.
