Very bad experience: *Basically, Lake Trasimeno is not very interesting: it is not allowed to approach the islands, to moor at any of the shore landing stages, and the southern half of the lake is off-limits because it is not deep enough... Overall, if you absolutely must, don't take a whole day; half a day is more than enough to discover the calm waters of this phantom lake. *Basically: The welcome was frosty at the start and downright detestable upon arrival. The boat was old, and the ladder got stuck the first time we used it. We were accused of sailing with the ladder down, which was absolutely not the case. We were insulted and asked for €150 to repair a faulty ladder! It's a disgrace. The adventure ended with a heated argument, at the end of which my husband managed to put the ladder away, proving we hadn't broken it... Strongly not recommended: a walk as disappointing as that rental company looking for pigeons to pay!
The welcome was excellent, and the explanation of how to operate the boat was very clear. It was calm on the lake, and the weather was beautiful. This excursion is absolutely worth it.
