Best experience on a yacht - full stop. Michael’s expertise and planning is second to none. We spent several days together crossing the Mediterranean into Africa, and it will stand out as one of the most memorable experiences of my life. I never once felt unsafe, and more so, I learned a tremendous amount from him every step of the way. If you’re spending a day with Michael and NuShen around Malta, you’ll have an absolute blast as he knows all the spots and the ins and outs of the island and all the beauty that comes with it. If you’re spending a week with Michael, then consider yourself lucky for meeting one of the most interesting and capable people both on the sea and on land. I couldn’t have asked for a better captain, and now friend. He was communicative through the whole process, and we worked quite well together through both challenging and beautiful weather - things can and do go wrong, but it’s all about grace under pressure. The Mediterranean can be unpredictable in the winter, and we took advantage of proper planning against the weather windows, and even adapted as needed. He won’t admit it, but he’s a bit of a celebrity in the yachting space. He’s a salty dog with fans across continents - you should see how people light up when they see him. That’s the hallmark of a truly special individual. I would sail again with Michael in a heartbeat. I can’t emphasize enough what a marvelous experience this was.

We sailed as a family of 4 for the entire day with Michael from Sanglea to Comino and the Blue Lagoon! We had a fantastic experience and enjoyed a lot the day, the sailing and the wonderful company of Michael. He is a fantastic human being and an incredibly knowledgeable skipper! It felt like being with a friend known since a long time. He shared tens of stories of his past sailing experiences and adventures.
Thanks for the great day and company Michael… from now on we will look forward the green flashing at the sunset and think of you! Wishing you all the best and good wind for your future adventures!

We absolutely had the BEST day with Micheal aboard NuShen. Such a warm, friendly, calm, funny and welcoming captain who made the day so enjoyable. Micheal has an incredible history aboard NuShen and his sailing life so stories flowed all day which was so interesting and captivating. The boat was clean and had plenty space to sit or lounge out in the Maltese sunshine. Lunch was lovingly prepared and just the perfect style of food for the day (and the heat!). I would highly recommend sailing with him any day. We’ll be back soon :)

Michael hosted my husband and I for an amazing 2 night charter from Senglea up to Comino and then to Gozo. Unfortunately the winds weren’t in our favor but Michael made the best of it and truly gave us an unforgettable experience. He prepared delicious meals and provided great conversation. We absolutely recommend Michael and might book a longer charter with him to Sicily in the future.

I am a very experienced sailor and have sailed extensively in many parts of the world so my critique for our time on Nushen is based on hard experience .
My wife and I want to thank Michael for his excellent yacht handling and local knowledge that led to to some fabulous days on the waters between Malta and Sicily on Nushen .
Michael was an outstanding skipper and and great host with lots of knowledge and experiences to share . Nushen was in fine order and an excellent ocean capable yacht that Michael was understandably proud of and with lots of further upgrades planned into the future.
We look forward to potentially travelling again on Nushen and with Michael into the future and recommend his services highly.

Such a wonderful experience! Michael was a great captain and great to chat to, we felt incredibly safe on the boat and in his hands. Lunch was delicious and perfect for a day in the water. He clearly put care and thought into every aspect of the meal. Couldn’t recommend enough!!
