Rodney Bay was a great starting point for our sail. After arriving at the airport in Vieux Fort, we had a 1.5 hour mountainous drive across the island by car service to Rodney Bay. Our host was waiting for us at the marina when we arrived just after dark and we spent the night on the boat at anchor, waking up to views of Pigeon Island. The marina has bathroom and shower facilities. Returning on December 1 was interesting- an election day, Rodney Bay was in party mode for half the night.

A beautiful area with a gorgeous, long stretch of beach. If you arrive on a Friday you have the opportunity to attend the famous street party, which can't be missed.

As a family of complete novices, we had an absolutely unforgettable experience from start to finish.
Seeing St. Lucia from the water offers a completely different perspective. The coastline, hidden bays, and quiet, untouched spots we visited were simply breathtaking and far from the typical crowded tourist routes.
What made it even more special was how hands-on the experience was. We weren’t just passengers — we were involved in the sailing, learning, helping, and really feeling what it’s like to be out at sea. It made the whole adventure exciting, engaging, and incredibly rewarding for all of us.
A huge thank you to our skipper and the entire team. Their professionalism, knowledge, and calm, friendly approach made us feel safe, welcome, and completely looked after at all times. Nothing felt rushed or “standard” — it was clear they genuinely care about creating a unique and memorable experience.
This day gave us memories we will carry for a lifetime.
We would absolutely, without hesitation, do it again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for something truly special.

My fiancé and I had a great time on Richard's boat for 5 days . The boat was well equipped and we felt extremely safe in the hands of Richard as a skipper. We opted in for the all inclusive package and were very happy with Richard's cooking throughout our trip as he cooks well. The only downside may have been the cleanliness of the boat, however at this pricepoint it was sufficient. Thank you Ian for giving us incredible memories of sailing in the pristine waters of the windward islands!

We took our two young kids (aged 3 and 5) on a 5-night adventure with Ian. We had planned to sail around St. Lucia but he offered to take us to Martinique so we did that instead. We enjoyed all of the places we visited (some were truly breathtaking) and found the adventure to be fun yet safe. Ian was professional and made us feel safe even when we were in very rough waters and seasick. He made sure that we had an unforgettable adventure.
The price ended up being quite a bit more than what was advertised, but we did order extras like all food and wine provided, which was very nice.

We had a lovely day out with Philip. We sailed down to the Pitons from Rodney Bay. Lunch was delicious - BBQed on the boat. There was also lots of flexibility - we stopped to swim at a beach on the way back and there was a lot of tolerance for our loud music and enthusiastic singing. All in all a great day and highly recommended.

It was a great day trip up and down the coast of St. Lucia. Our group of 10 adults all have a comfortable time. Our skipper, Boby, was fun and knowledgeable. This was a last minute booking and we were thankful to find such a great boat with less than 24 hours notice.
The only recommendation we have is related to where exactly to go once we got to the marina. The security at the marina sent us back and forth several times. Knowing that the marina security may not be knowledgeable in the future with others, some clearer directions on exactly where to go would be helpful.
