Everything worked perfectly from start to finish. The booking process was smooth and effortless, and communication with Marcello was clear, friendly, and very professional. Marcello and his crew gave us the warmest welcome and immediately made us feel comfortable on board. They took the time to show us the boat in detail, explained how everything worked, and made sure we felt confident with both the equipment and the navigation. We also received excellent guidance on what to look out for when sailing up and along the coast, which gave us peace of mind throughout the trip. It was a truly enjoyable experience, and I would be absolutely delighted to sail with Marcello again in the near future.

Our trip was very nice and everything worked fine. Just as a reference for the use of fuel: The boat uses around 8 liters per hour while driving 10 knots (17km/h) with around 3500 rpm.

We had an incredible day sailing in Sicily! Fazbrizio was extremely communicative and flexible, which we appreciated so much. We were delayed by three hours due to a highway accident, and he was so kind and understanding about it. Once on board, he went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful experience. He took us to stunning spots along the island that we never would have discovered on our own. He was also a fantastic host: interesting to talk to and full of fascinating stories and historical knowledge. This experience was truly a highlight of our trip—highly recommend!

The day we had was extraordinary. The boat was as described and Guiseppe explained everything in detail. It is close to the city and reachable by bus. Overall would rent again.

The historical occupations and the jewels that remain

Founded by the Phoenicians back in the 8th Century BC. The city has gone through many periods of history characterized by domination, first by the Vandals, then by the Byzantine Empire, and later by the Muslims, all of whom have left architectural traces in Palermo. Under Muslim rule, the city became a major economic center of the Mediterranean, in terms of both trade and culture. The Normans added exceptional buildings to the city, while under Frederick II, the osmosis between Greek, Muslim, and Latin cultures was maintained. In modern times, Palermo has been occupied by the Aragonese, the Austrians, and the Bourbons. Under Spain, the city took on the colors of Baroque monuments. Depending on the historical period and occupation of the city, many buildings and remains from different eras can still be found, rendering the city somewhat eclectic and stratified.
