WE HAVE BEEN APPRECIATED BY THE GUARDIAN IN 10 BEST SAILING HOLIDAYS IN EUROPE! The boat ZORBA is Beneteau Cyclades 50.5. It has 5 cabins + skipper cabin with a separate entrance and 3 toilets. 4 of the cabins have double beds and the 5th one has got the bunk bed. Fully refurbished in 2022. Among other equipment, the boat has a dinghy with a Tohatsu outboard engine, gas cooker + gas stove, refrigerator, lots of storage space, 3 independent tanks of water (1000 litres) and fuel tanks (400 litres); portable air conditioning. Each year the technical inspection of the boat is made by Lloyd’s register. In case of emergency the boat is equipped with: satellite device EPIRB - Emergency Position Indicating Radio Beacon (second as a back up), various pyrotechnics, marine DSC radio plus handheld VHF, electronic active radar reflector, life raft (second as a back up) and personal life jackets. For our lovely crews we also have some snorkelling equipment. We are a couple from Poland who own a sailing boat Cyclades 50.5 (5 double cabins + skipper cabin, 3 toilets, max.10 guests). We have 16 years of experience in organising sailing holidays in Greece and Caribbean, having thousands of happy customers on board of our S/Y ZORBA from all over the world. Greece is our second home and during the last 16 years we have prepared well-proven routes and attractions arranged with locals and a variety of their services. In Greece we organise sailing holidays in Saronic or in Cyclades.The sailing daily distances depend on our guests mood - we are flexible in adjusting to their needs. Each night we are showing our guests well selected and our favorite Tavernas with absolutely amazing local food and wine. During all our trips we try to stay far away from tourist crowds - in the small harbours or on anchorages next to desert islands (excluding goats and birds). Each day we stop for swimming in beautiful bays - some of them completely wild, others with one small taverna, serving for lunch fresh fish and seafood (often taken out of the water before our eyes). For our guests we offer a possibility of jogging/yoga in the morning, organic food on board and a healthy lifestyle close to wild nature. Friendly local people and lots of tasty food and wine are the common features for all the islands that we visit. Since we always sail together, roles are well shared between us. Greg (55yrs old) is a captain with 25 years of experience at sea, crossing the Atlantic twice a year, who started his adventure in a sport sailing in Regattas. His responsibility is our guest's safety, which is a priority. Me - Aga - As i am a film producer, i take care of all the logistics and our guests comfort. My role is to make you feel like home. I am our guest's tour guide, resident, friend and sometimes psychologist :) I believe together we offer a safe and unforgettable experience. We are both well-skilled sailors so taking part in sailing maneuvers is optional for those who would like to learn and spend their holidays in an active way. We teach sailing basics, safety on board, knots, steering, mooring ect. No sailing experience is needed. Those who just wish to sunbathe and relax on deck are free to do so. Additionally, Greg is an International Sailing School Association (ISSA) instructor with the possibility to issue a skipper certificate.
