Overall great day out on the sea with friends but soured due to poor communication and unprofessional behaviour from the boat captain. I have charted a number of yachts/boats but have never had an experience this poor with someone who should be there to make your day enjoyable. Communication with Louisa the owner in the lead up was okay - although she seemed to alternate between messaging on the Clickandboat platform and sms in both English and French which was a bit frustrating. We didn't have a great experience with Marcus the boat captain. Our interaction got off to a bad start when I texted Marcus the night before our journey to confirm some details such as what equipment was available on the boat - to which he didn't reply and I followed up the morning of. He then followed up with rude messages including saying "I am not your lackey or Hostess, I am only the Skipper." and "I have other things to do then answer each question each five minutes". The staff at the Port Canto harbour, when we were at the office paying the harbourmaster fee, also noted that he was a difficult personality to work with from their point of view which I thought said a lot if they were disclosing that to us. During our time with Marcus he seemed superficially nice but always seemed irritated or annoyed when we asked him for simple favours. He also seemed condescending at times. On the contrast our group have been entirely polite and respectful towards him, while always tiptoeing around trying to avoid setting him off. I live in Australia and am used to a bit of friendly banter but in this professional setting and the negative way our relationship started - I didn't appreciate a lot of "jokes" he was making which were often in bad taste. This included making fun of my friend's name and refusing to pronounce it properly or constantly calling another friend "Captain Pee Pee" just because he showed him how to use the toilet. You could also tell he was very particular about hygiene which is absolutely fine, but he was very militant about it and wouldn't let us go into the toilet if we were wet which I felt was a bit ridiculous being on a boat at sea. He also seemed to need constant praise and encouragement about what a "good skipper" he was - which we all did vocally to keep him happy but we were all cringing inside. We also weren't allowed to use any of the 4 bedrooms even just to change - which is the first time I've come across such rules - if you rent a boat for a day I feel like you should have access to all the facilities. I would also clarify the itinerary before you set off with him as the described itinerary showed 3 locations but we only did 2. Overall a nice day out but all of us couldn't wait to get off the boat and far away from him
We were a group of 7 people who went on a fantastic boat trip with Captain Marcus. The whole experience was smooth, relaxed, and very enjoyable. Marcus was welcoming, knowledgeable, and clearly loved what he was doing.

We had a wonderful day on the boat! The booking with Louisa was very easy and she answered all of our questions so that we felt very safe. The boat itself was amazing and we spent all day tanning and swimming. Marcus was very nice and fun, he took us to beautiful spots and made us all laugh a lot. If you are debating booking this trip I strongly recommend you to do so, we all agreed that this is going to be one of the absolute highlights of this vacation!
Merci beaucoup Marcus for this amazing boat day.. we had a lovely time on the catamaran and the owner and skipper was really kind.. he even helped us sort out a table at the restaurant when we arrived a little late.. the boat was comfortable and we made good use of the sup board ☺️ all in all we would recommend to hire this boat and we will definitely come back!

Awful, rude, aggressive bully. I simply said I’ve never rented a boat with no water or bin before. The skipper (Marcus) got confrontational. We went for lunch. I told the boat before the contract we would return by 18.30. At 5.00 the boat departed leaving us in Cap D’antibes not honouring the contract.

We spent the day with Marcus, who was very communicative and such a lovely man. The rules were clear and made sense, there was fun equipment for us to use, a refrigerator and some great shade and a place to sun yourself at the front. We had a lovely day and will definitely book again with Marcus and Louisa!
We had the most amazing experience on the yacht with Marcus. Marcus made our experience so wonderful. Working with Louisa was also so great and she was very accommodating to all our needs and changes. We are so happy with this experience! Thank you! The crew of 12!
Booking with Louisa was fantastic. She provided ample information prior to our charter, covering details like food options, times, and essentials to bring. The boat was perfectly sized for our group of ten, celebrating my husband’s 40th birthday, and we enjoyed it from 11 AM to 5 PM. Our skipper, Marcus, was very cautious about boat safety and rules. While we appreciate the importance of guidelines for a safe boating experience, the approach felt more stringent than what we’ve encountered with past charters. This affected the relaxed atmosphere we were hoping for. Moreover, there was a moment when Marcus misunderstood our request to delay ordering pizzas and subsequently confronted one of our group members quite aggressively. This incident, which occurred in front of everyone, was strange and unexpected, and it notably marred our experience. This was our fourth boat rental, and although this experience was a bit different, the boat was lovely and Louisa was incredibly helpful. Overall, while there were aspects of the day that felt more controlled, the quality of the boat and the coordination by Louisa were commendable.
The boat was great but there were so many rules and restrictions by the skipper/owner. Basically you can stay on the deck , everywhere else was off limit. Walking to the front deck was allowed from one side only. Bathroom flush needed a special tutorial that was given to one person only with the responsibility of making sure everyone else gets it . Freshwater on the boat was to be used one time only at the end of the day…. None of these rules were shared before we got on the boat. Not the boat rental experience one would expect. Deeply disappointing.
Great skipper with an interesting story about made for very pleasant company. Clean boat and well maintained. Only downside was that I wish we did more sailing and seeing the coast , partially my fault as I didn't discuss the plan in advance .
Very accommodating and a wonderful experience! Captain Marcus was so helpful with all of our needs and we had such a fun time swimming and hanging out on the boat.
We booked a boat for a day but we’re greeted with “you’re not allowed inside the boat” so ended up staying outdoors the whole time. Really has a way of making you feel unwelcome - “bring everything, plates, forks, etc” in addition to cash payment for “skipper services” - wouldn’t accept dollar or any other option 🤷♂️ Captain wasn’t really flexible with much and clear on the many rules laid out. Boat was clean on the outside (because we weren’t allowed inside!). We booked the boat for a day but felt really uncomfortable with time limitations (11am-5pm since he had a “sunset package” booked after. Wouldn’t book with this person again.

RUN AWAY!!!! SCAM We had signed a quote for a day on Marcus's catamaran for €1,500 all-inclusive. The plan was to pay €550 directly to Marcus (the skipper). Before we could even board the boat, he yelled at us, wanting only to speak to the person who had booked. He demanded €700 in cash, otherwise we would cancel the day on the boat and we wouldn't be refunded the €930 we had already paid to Click&Boat. Of course, we wanted to pay by credit card, but he told us that in that case, it would be an additional 5%. We asked for an invoice, but we never saw one. Once on board, Marcus started yelling at us and insulting us, "she's already starting to get on my nerves." Totally inappropriate behavior. This day was hell, the boat was completely unmaintained. A total scam! Avoid...
We had an excellent day. Everything went perfectly, the boat was spectacular, and Marcus was always attentive to our needs and made sure everything ran smoothly. A truly great experience.

Great day on the boat, there were 10 of us on board Louisa's catamaran with Marcus as captain, it was a great day!
Extremely disappointing experience and far from our expectations. From the start, the skipper was intimidating and threatening, warning us that he would cancel the trip at the slightest “opportunity”, when we had not even boarded the boat yet. We were not allowed to use the boat’s speakers, and when we used our small personal speaker, he made us turn down the volume, or even change the song if he did not like it. Access to the boat was also very restricted, we were only allowed a limited part, which was far from what we imagined for such a service. In addition, we had rented this boat to enjoy a quiet moment with friends, but this was not possible. The skipper constantly came to sit with us and stayed by our side in an intrusive manner, making it impossible to fully enjoy ourselves. The skipper’s general behavior made the experience even more unpleasant: he was rude, unprofessional, and clearly unfit to welcome customers. Finally, we paid an extra hour in cash to go to a supposedly quieter spot, but no invoice was provided for this payment. This leaves serious doubts about the transparency and management of the services. Such a disrespectful attitude towards customers is unacceptable
