The boat returned hours late after the previous trip, but was available on time. Various hidden defects that had not been reported by our predecessors forced us to return to the mainland after just one night, where an excellent crew from the Vela base (Marina di Stabia) met us at the anchor and carried out the following "running repairs": a) Anchor control device broken, replace b) Water desalinator broken, clean electrical contacts c) Domestic Batteries: 2 batts broken, rest weak, all batteries changed at half time in the port (crew change for 2nd week) d) Aft waste tank outlet (sea valve): clogged, repair at half time e) Cockpit stairs (diesel door) hinges torn out, repaired halfway through the port f) Bimini, both peepholes upwards to the top of the mast (to the clicker) blind (sunlight decomposition), not removable
