Description of Vincent's catamaran
Catamaran Catana 581 18m
The FOLLIA sailing catamaran was launched by the French shipyard Catana in 2002 and underwent a refit in 2022. Measuring 18.10 m (60 ft), the FOLLIA catamaran can accommodate up to 8 passengers in two double cabins and two convertible twin cabins, all with en-suite bathrooms. The FOLLIA catamaran is available in the idyllic South Pacific. The FOLLIA features a bright and airy interior, with modern honey-toned woodwork, subtle cream-colored furnishings, and numerous portholes and panels for optimal ventilation. The saloon, open to a formal dining table, lounge area, and galley, is fully equipped. Large sliding glass doors open the saloon onto a shaded cockpit and an al fresco dining area. The guest cabins are located in the port and starboard hulls, forward and aft. The luxury yacht FOLLIA offers ample outdoor living space. The aft cockpit, adjacent to the salon, provides a perfect spot for al fresco dining. Access to the water is made easy by the wide swim platforms to port and starboard. The wraparound decks lead to a spacious foredeck equipped with two safety trampolines, ideal for sunbathing or simply relaxing with an aperitif while admiring the sunset. With a beam of 9.1 m (30 ft) and a draft of 2.7 m (9 ft), the FOLLIA was designed with retractable centerboards for optimal speed, allowing it to reduce its draft to an impressive 1.1 m (-3.5 ft), making it the ideal yacht for navigating in shallow waters. The luxury catamaran FOLLIA can accommodate up to 8 passengers in 4 cabins, each with an en-suite bathroom. Forward, to port and starboard, are two mirrored cabins with double beds. Aft, to port and starboard, are two twin cabins easily convertible into double cabins if needed. Each cabin features large oval portholes, typical of the Catana, offering abundant natural light and a gentle tropical breeze. • Snorkeling equipment for 8 passengers • One paddle • One kayak (capacity 3 people) • Wakeboard • Trolling equipment • A large 40 HP tender for water sports • Home Cinema with Dolby Digital BOSE sound PROGRAMS Several options are available depending on the number of days on board, with a minimum stay of three nights/four days. We offer several cruise programs, for example: - Fakarava: A 7-day cruise in the lagoon, sheltered from the waves, to discover the flora and fauna, as well as local traditions. We will accompany you on land and sea excursions: a visit to the village of Rotoava and its church, renowned for its magical shell decorations; sunset aperitifs on Hirifa Beach and a shared traditional barbecue; snorkeling in the southern pass of Tetamanu; sailing in the lagoon; discovering local cultures and the Marquesan sculptor based in Tetamanu; and exploring and walking on the northern reef. - Fakarava-Toau-Ranguiroa: A 10-day cruise in the lagoon and between the atolls. We will sail overnight between Toau and Ranguiroa. We will discover the flora and fauna, as well as local traditions. We will accompany you on land and sea excursions, a tasting of local dishes at Gaston and Valentine's in Amiot Bay (Toau Atoll), and an aperitif at Josephine's in the Tiputa Pass, a unique opportunity to discover where your introductory dive will take place. - Fakarava-Toau-Ranguiroa-Tikehau: A 15-day cruise including the previous programs and some additional activities, followed by a final voyage to Tikehau where you will discover another magnificent atoll where you can snorkel with manta rays and have the opportunity to dive with hammerhead and trevally sharks (of course, nature is unpredictable, so there are no guarantees).
