The boat has a length of 6 meters and is ideal for sailing around Ischia. The engine is 99 HP and it is possible to drive the boat without a boat license. Go with friends and family on board the wooden Lancia, which can carry up to 6 people on board. You can ask for a skipper on board for an extra cost of € 70 per day. It is starting from a port other than that of Forio for a price between € 10 and € 20. Petrol is not included in the price. Set off to explore Ischia with a typical boat of the island and discover the wonderful beaches of the area aboard the wooden boat. We enjoyed the most wonderful experience on this exquisite little boat. We hugged the coastline from Forio Port to the large bay at west side of Sant’Angelo. We swam off the boat, we enjoyed a picnic, we lay on the cushioned sun deck and read books. The cliff vistas were breathtaking. A traditional Ischia boat may not be to everyone’s taste, some may prefer faster, more contemporary inflatables, but it’s exactly our style and speed! It was a memorable family highlight of our time on beautiful Ischica.

Raphael our skipper was fantastic. Communication when we booked was good, we were able to quickly arrange when and where to pick up the boat. Added bonus that Racheal met us right by our hotel (at the monestary), and him and his manager came back from the other side of the island to drop off a bag left on the boat. It was a fantastic day of snorkelling, sunbathing and exploration. Couldn’t recommend more highly, although be sure to budget for the gasoline costs.
Arrived at 09:00 we were informed that the boat was available from 10:30 .... ???
Very pleasant moment on the island of Dischia where the landscape is superb. Only remarks about the day: we broke down the engine once, and the owners are not helpful: do not answer the phone and do not answer the message. In addition, be wary because gasoline is chargeable at the end (admittedly normal) but makes us pay full when we only left with 12 liters out of 25 on the day or we did not consume more than 10 liters…. We recommend boating on the island anyway
Vito and family are very kind and professional people. Super comfortable, practical and clean boat. Super recommended!
We broke down twice. The maintenance of the boat left to be desired.
