Every day, we set sail for an excursion aboard an elegant, spacious, and comfortable 15-meter sailing vessel. It offers the comfort and liveability of a superior vessel, while maintaining the seaworthiness and navigational safety of a large, elegant sailboat. You'll experience a close encounter with the nature of the Tavolara and Molara Marine Protected Area, near Olbia, home to a port and airport. This special excursion departs from the enchanting Port of Golfo Aranci, just minutes from Olbia, strategically located for visiting the islands of Tavolara and Molara. The first stop will be near the offshore fish farm, located before Capo Figari, where it's easy to spot the dolphins that live in the area, constantly searching for food. We'll then continue to Tavolara, where we'll stop for just over an hour to swim in the turquoise water and visit the island and its beaches, where you'll be enchanted by the stories surrounding the "King of Tavolara." Tavolara is an island rising from the sea like a granite colossus, dotted with Mediterranean greenery that lends its name to the marine protected area surrounding it. The island is known as the smallest kingdom in the world. A 560-meter-high, four-kilometer-long mountain of limestone and granite rising from the sea, it features rugged rocks, a dizzying, vertical drop, and stunning hues: the green of juniper, rosemary, and mastic trees, juxtaposed with the azure, blue, and emerald green of the surrounding waters. The island, with its elongated, almost flat shape, is the centerpiece and defining symbol of an unforgettable spectacle: the Tavolara-Punta Coda Cavallo marine protected area, which extends for 76 kilometers along the coast. Here, you can swim, snorkel, and enjoy an excellent aperitif featuring typical Sardinian products washed down with an excellent Sardinian Vermentino wine. We'll then sail toward Molara, stopping for a swim and lunch in the splendid "Piscine di Tavolara" area. Lunch will be enjoyed floating on the turquoise sea, a stretch of water between the island and the coast where the turquoise color and transparency of the water will leave you breathless and astounding. On the return journey, weather permitting, the skipper will choose another cove for a final swim: choose from the wonderful bays of Porto Istana, Cala Girgolu, the Three Sisters of Capo Ceraso, or Cala Moresca. The skipper will choose based on the day's wind. The relaxing return voyage will be dedicated to searching for dolphins, who often visit us in this area: there's no guarantee! They're free... and that's how we want them! ITINERARY DURATION: 7 - 8 hours Golfo Aranci - Cala Moresca beach - Figarolo islet (dolphins) - Tavolara - Molara - Cala Girgolu. There are always three stops, which, like the itinerary, may vary based on weather conditions and the skipper's decisions. You can swim, swim from the boat, snorkel, and, wind permitting, swim to enchanting coves and beaches. LUNCH Lunch will be served on board and includes: a traditional aperitif featuring local products; followed by a lunch, cooked on board, of seafood pasta according to traditional Sardinian recipes, along with Vermentino wine, beer, fruit, Sardinian sweets, and mirto, the traditional Sardinian liqueur extracted from the islands' characteristic Mediterranean vegetation. If you have any food allergies or special requests, please note that these cannot be accommodated on board, so a packed lunch is recommended.
