My family and I had a great time on our three-day trip with Achim and Elena, who were lovely, welcoming hosts. The boat is comfortable and spacious and they keep it in great shape. We'd definitely go sailing with them again!
A great trip. Achim and his wife provided us a wonderful excursion. All in all, a wonderful day
We had an absolutely magical day aboard with Elena & Achim, who were the perfect hosts! The boat is wonderful & comfortable, loads of places to sit to enjoy being on the sea. It was the highlight of our trip to Greneda & we are so pleased we booked! Thank you so much to Elena & Achim for the warm hospitality & for showing us the magical bays one cannot access easily except by boat. 100% recommend to others to book, you won’t be disappointed :)
Achim and his wife were excellent to work with. They accommodated a large group of eight ladies, including a birthday party. A cake was purchased, and a birthday banner was hung, which was a complete surprise for the birthday girl. Our group requested service on the boat. We provided the provisions, which included chicken. They are vegetarians, but they accommodated us by cooking everything that we provided and setting the table. They went above and beyond, which made our experience in Grenada memorable. April H.
I hired the services of Achim to take my family on a days sail in Grenada. Achim picked us up in his dinghy from Spice Island Marina and took us to his Trimaran which was moored about 5 minutes away. When we arrived at the boat, we were met by the lovely Elena, whom, together with Achim, gave us the warmest of welcomes aboard. They gave us a tour of the boat and provided a safety demonstration. They provided refreshments, and then we set sail. Achim and Elenor’s command of the boat is very impressive and they are ultra professional in their approach. We were free to move around the boat as we pleased, and started in the comfy seats at the back, before moving to the front. As we sailed, both Elena and Achim would point things out to us, like landmarks and other interesting facts. They were very informative and kept us entertained. The highlight of the trip was the underwater sculpture park, where you could snorkel above and see the eerily looking the sculptures underneath. We then sailed to a black sand beach before heading along the coast taking in sights of Grand Anse beach, the university, various hotels and the airport where 2 planes were literally landing just above our heads. We saw some huge turtles and a stingray that dived out of the water. We had a thoroughly enjoyable day and I would highly recommend Achim & Elena for a sailing trip around Grenada.
They exceeded expectations! Really special boat and crew. Highly recommended for your next Grenadines excursion!
Achim and Elena were great! They fulfilled all our requests for the day and gave our family the experience of a lifetime! Achim was available to pick us up ahead of our scheduled appointment. We were warmly welcomed on board and given a fun and sufficient safety lesson. They planned our day as we requested with their own attention to detail and thoughtfulness. We sailed about 8 miles off shore to “swim in the deep” and it was fantastic! Then they sailed us to Black Bay where we ate our lunch and then snorkeled and jumped and dove off the boat. We saw three kinds of eels, wonderful fish, and a few corals. As we sailed, we saw five sea turtles, brown and red-footed boobies, and a dozen other great leeward side birds. As we sailed into the Atlantic, we picked up a Wilson’s storm-petral and Manx shearwaters. We asked if we could run out the fishing line as we sailed and Achim hooked a nice fish, unfortunately we lost it before landing it. But the thrill of “FISH ON” was great. This was an experience that all of my 6 “children” aged 15-29 and my wife enjoyed.
Warming, welcoming couple. Attentive. Asked what we'd like to do. Accommodating.
Great trip to discover heavenly places. Achim and Helena are very good skippers and hosts. We traveled with our 2 children aged 5 and 7.
If you want to take a cruise in the Grenadine Islands (Moustique, Tobago Cays, Mayreau, Union...), you absolutely have to do it on Achim and Elena's trimaran! Being our first booking through Click&Boat, we didn't know what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised and we recommend this experience! The price-quality ratio is very good. Everything is fully customizable according to your desires and your budget. The boat is very comfortable, the common areas are clean and spacious. Being claustrophobic by nature, I had some anxiety at the idea of sleeping in a small cabin. Nevertheless, the room is very spacious and well ventilated. An important point to note is that the bedroom is located directly on the main deck (not at hull level). So you don't have to go down stairs and you don't have the feeling of suffocation (as was the case during a previous cruise on another boat). I think this is the best configuration for a boat of this size! We slept very well. Elena and Achim are skippers who listen to their customers, are attentive and interesting. These are important elements because you live with them on the boat! They knew how to stand back when we wanted to rest, and on the contrary, chat with us when we were in a chatty mood. They recommended restaurants and activities to do there, so we didn’t have to organize anything! Elena is a very good cook, we had a great time! Francka, the owners' little cat, is discreet and very cuddly. The only negative point of this trip was our stopover on Union Island. It's not very pretty, the atmosphere is weird and the locals aren't very friendly. A piece of advice for future travelers: If like us, you have to take a Grenadine Islands-Barbados flight to return to Europe or America, choose Canouan airport rather than Union Island. Canouan is really next to Union, our plane actually made a stopover on this island to pick up other tourists (5 minutes flight between Canouan and Union). It's my fault, I should have known better! We rarely take the time to write reviews on the Internet, but when you have met people as nice as Achim and Elena, it's the least you can do to thank them for a great cruise. Having fallen in love with this archipelago, we will definitely come back! We will not hesitate to take another cruise on this boat! BD and AFL
