Hello everyone, I'm offering this sailboat for rent, a Jeanneau Fanstasia, over 8 meters long. This boat is ideal for group or family outings to explore the area around La Rochelle by sea! Explore Île de Ré, Île d'Oléron, Île d'Aix, Fort Boyard, and more! This sailboat is safe, very well-equipped, and well-maintained, notably with its new 2023 furling genoa and new 2026 mainsail. Its legal capacity is 8 people, but I recommend a maximum of 6 to ensure comfort during your trips at sea. For overnight stays on board, you can accommodate up to 5 people. In terms of cabins, there are 2 berths in the aft cabin, 1/2 berths in the forward cabin, and 1/2 berths in the convertible saloon. Overall rating
Everything went very well. Pierre and Ugo are very available, organized, accommodating, and responsive to messages. The boat is as described and very well equipped. The only negative point is the small mainsail, which makes the boat slower and therefore less attractive in light airs. This is why I'm not giving it 5 stars. Despite this, the boat remains very pleasant to sail.

At the top like every year
Pierre's Fantasia is great for coasting. Pierre has very well equipped his sailboat with its storage winches. But Pierre, if I may, must provide a notebook or an internet link for the operation of the boat. When we took our boat we set off to tour the Ile de Ré because we wanted to see the fireworks from the sea. More than a dozen at the same time off the coast of St Martin en Ré. But at that time we wouldn't be able to navigate with the steering compass because we hadn't managed to turn it on. As in addition the lock did not work because of algae I think and the sounder continually went into alarm because of a bad setting it was a bit of a hassle. There was a GPS associated with the map in the saloon of the boat but it was not very practical. So we put a GPS app on our phones and it went well. As for his mainsail, Pierre will say what he wants but it's not the right one. It is a little too small but in hindsight it is quite effective. Pierre installed an electric windlass but the problem he should monitor his service and engine batteries more closely. When we anchored on the Ile de Ré we had to wind the chain by hand because even with the engine the windlass did not work. For the rest, nothing to complain about but when you are as big as me, weighing more than 100 kg, you have to give up on the toilets on board. In short, Pierre's Fantasia sailboat is super nice for 3 or 4 people. The on-board cooler is good but you need to bring other coolers with ice. The nice shopkeeper at Minimes sells bottles of frozen water for €1.50, which is great. So me and my children have stored up lots of good memories and we are already dreaming of sailing again. Philip
Pierre is friendly, available and accommodating. Boat with an undersized mainsail but overall in good and satisfactory condition in order to spend 2 beautiful days of sailing.
