Merci beaucoup!
We thoroughly enjoyed our two-day sailing trip aboard David's sailboat. Despite the boat's age, it is well-maintained. The new engine is a major asset, providing greater safety and peace of mind. The boat is easy to handle, and having a furling headsail and a convenient reefing system is a welcome improvement over our previous rentals. The equipment provided is particularly practical: a large battery for charging our phones, essential kitchen equipment (coffee maker, etc.). And thank you, David, for the explanations on how to handle the sailboat. Quiberon Bay proved to be the ideal sailing area, offering us beautiful days despite a Force 5-6 gale that kept us in port one day (but that's the charm of October!). A big thank you to David for his trust. We would do it again without hesitation.
A great weekend aboard Mouss'tic! David was very flexible with the welcome and key handover. The boat was fantastic, and unbeatable value for money for four people on board. Brand new sails and a brand new engine were a pleasure :) We'll definitely be back!
Great weekend on a small, very responsive sailboat, there is everything you need on board for comfort. We went to the port of Houat following the advice of the owner who told us that there was a new visitor pontoon in place of the lockers and it was a superb experience.
An excellent boat for this year's program: "skimming the rocks" between Houat and the Gulf, wild anchorages, and maneuvers under pure sail: a 1-meter draft is wonderful... The electric range is excellent, with a portable battery powered by a large, high-performance solar panel (never dropped below 80% charge...). The boat is certainly not gigantic, but there are plenty of extremely well-designed storage spaces. Kudos to Maurice Edel for the design! In light airs, the hull is quite fast, and the new mainsail is perfect. Finally, a special mention for the anchor (original, it stows vertically in its sort of locker on the deck - very practical): it never slipped, whatever the seabed and despite anchoring in full current or with little protection.
We spent 6 days as a group of 3 adults on Mouss Tic. Between Belle Île, Hoedic, and Port Navalo, the boat ride was very pleasant. Mouss Tic is easy to sail and a very simple experience. David is very friendly and clearly took great care to prepare the boat so that it would be as comfortable as possible for our stay. Thank you, David. I hope you have a great time on Mouss Tic this week...
A great experience on Mouss Tic! The boat is perfect for a trip to southern Brittany. David is super accommodating and always available; he allowed us to extend the rental without any problems due to a two-day storm during which we were stuck on Belle Île. I highly recommend it!!
Very pleasant week of sailing with Mouss Tic!
good little old boat
The boat was exactly as advertised, perfect for a trip to the islands. It transported us to Belle-Ile and Groix (as far as Ty Beudeff ;) on easy, calm tacks. A great boat on Mouss Tic. David, the owner, is very helpful and accommodating.
We received a warm welcome from the owner, David. The boat is pleasant and in good condition, meeting our expectations. It handled well in rough seas. A positive experience to be repeated. Thank you.
Very pleasant stay aboard this small, functional and well-maintained boat. Great service with water tanks filled and everything you need on board. Thank you!
Small boat, well equipped and very practical for visiting the islands. It matches the description. Like any boat with a little age, it needs some renovations.
Mouss tik although making 6.60 gave us complete satisfaction during these 3 days of rental. We had a range of weather which extended from calm to force 5 with gusts to 6. To correct the somewhat gitard character of Mouss tik we reefed and reduced the furling genoa. 3 days of navigation between the island of Arz and the bay of Quiberon. As for David, he is a great owner. Thank you again for allowing us to carry out this beautiful navigation.
The Edel 660 is a small sailboat that allows you to enjoy the bay of Quiberon, the golf course next door, or even sail to the islands. The probe is functional. The directional outboard motor makes it very maneuverable when you need to return to port. Overall we are very satisfied!
David is extremely available. Very reliable and welcoming. He has always been attentive and his boat is well designed for departures to neighboring islands. We had a great time on board. I appreciated his attention to detail and his desire to satisfy us. To do again.
David is very available and Mouss'tic is a well-maintained boat that works well. I recommend !
Very good stay on Mouss'Tik from La Trinité, in the bay of Quiberon (port Haliguen, le Crouesty etc...) David is very available, friendly and serious. Mouss Tik is a small boat, seaworthy without being too fiery, well equipped and well maintained. The 8 HP engine makes it possible to manage port maneuvers and arrivals efficiently. Looking forward to re-navigating on Mouss'Tik!
Very accommodating and competent owner, the boat is in line with expectations and well maintained.
David is an absolute kindness. Thanks to him for the welcome. Moustique is an Edel in good condition for its age. The essential is there for outings in the bay or the gulf. The pleasure of old-fashioned navigation! Thank you to all the 2.
We spent a pleasant weekend on Mouss Tic. The genoa was quite damaged (a few tears at the clew) but that didn't stop us from sailing with it for a whole weekend. Our reservation was at the end of the season, I know that the sail has since been under repair. The boat is quite seaworthy and behaved very well under 15/20kts both upwind and downwind. He is quite a git. It is possible to take only one reef and it is not equipped with other headsails than a furling genoa. The engine (an 8hp outboard) starts instantly and is powerful enough for the boat. However, we found it difficult to get it out of the water and back in. The interior is basic. We cook with a stove on gimbal and the dishes are done in a basin. It is necessary to think of taking external batteries to recharge laptops and tablets because the boat is not autonomous in navigation (except for the electronics on board). There is no water tank either. The owner is friendly and very accommodating. To recommend !
David's boat is very seaworthy and has the basic equipment for a day trip, a weekend, or even a week for 2 people. To try !
We were very well received by David. Picking up the boat and returning clear and easy. Thank you for sharing your passion.
David is great, very accommodating and responsive. I recommend 100%. ? Provide an external battery to charge your phone.
Very good rental owner friendly and present even during navigation I recommend
David's boat is very pleasant to navigate, we were able to take advantage of it for some nice outings at sea in the bay, especially to go to Houat. The boat is equipped inside with everything you need for a night! Thanks to David for his trust
