If you are in the Algarve and searching for a perfect, easy and fun boat day charter look no further. Charlie and Larissa couldn’t have hosted a better boat day experience for us. From the start, they were so welcoming and kind and the process to find the boat was seamless. Charlie was able to provide a ton of fun facts on the areas and caves we toured and brought us to a private beach at the end as well. Not to mention, the boat was spotless and had everything we needed from drinks and snacks to clean towels. We were able to eat lunch at a fantastic seafood spot in town (and we are admittedly food snobs) but this place was incredible! We are so envious of anyone else who has the pleasure of chartering a boat with this kind, relatable and interesting couple. Thank you for making our last day in the Algarve the best day!

We had the best afternoon in Lagos thanks to Charles and Larissa! From the moment we stepped onto the boat, Charles made us feel completely welcome and at home. He’s not just a captain—he’s a fantastic guide who shared so much history and insight about the area in a way that was both interesting and fun. The hospitality was outstanding—thoughtful, warm, and relaxed. We felt so comfortable the entire time. The paddle boards were such a great addition, and Charles even took pictures for us so we could just enjoy the experience. Our trip ran from 2:00 to 5:30, and honestly, it was by far the best day we’ve had in Lagos so far. If you’re looking for a perfect afternoon out on the water, I can’t recommend this enough. Charles and Larissa are the kind of hosts that turn a boat ride into a memory you’ll never forget!

I now see why so many previous reviews rave about this experience—spending time aboard the vessel “Grace” is truly a must do in Lagos. From the moment we set foot on board, Charlie and Larissa welcomed us like old friends, and by the end of the day, they felt like family. We love learning a bit of history while traveling and really enjoyed learning tidbits of info as we sailed along the coast. They took us some of their favorite (and secret!) spots to paddle board as well as kept the wine flowing. We felt so grateful to be able to spend even more time aboard as we were having such a great time and their schedule allowed. This was a charter we didn’t want to end! Can’t thank you all enough for such a spectacular day on the water and memories that we won’t soon forget!

Could not recommend enough, Charles and Larissa were so accommodating. We could not have had a better experience on the day. The boats and facilities were so comfortable and well maintained. We experienced it all, the caves the lagoons and the beauty of the whole cost. Charles was super informative with his knowledge of the coastline and Larissa was such a warm and welcoming host. They were an amazing and beautiful couple with such a beautiful nature. Made us feel super relaxed and comfortable. Charlie was a fantastic host. From the point of considering booking to finally booking Charlie was prompt in his communications and I could tell he was going to be great fun. We were a party of 5 with a child and Charlie was nothing but informative, entertaining and super attentive to the whole group throughout. We were treated to beautiful wines and beers snacks and minerals, he was full of local knowledge of the area and spent hours on his paddleboards in the beautiful lagoon he located for us. Charles and Larissa are the best kept secret in Lagos for boat tours! We are so happy we came across their listing here and booked a half day trip with them. They were excellent with communication, have an immaculate boat and setup, were the consummate hosts, and had everything we needed for a lovely late morning/afternoon around the coast. Charles is also super well versed on the history of Lagos and the surroundings, and even for residents like us, he managed to surprise us with history and fun facts. We celebrated our 1st anniversary on board with Larissa and Charles, and it was the best experience, that we've ever had on a boat. A VERY relaxing massage, champagne, and cute snacks were all included, and they are just the sweetest couple to talk to! We saw caves and grottos, then went to sandbanks in a nearby lagoon. They love what they do, they also love their home city. That makes it very special to go with them and feel thier passion for the area. To top it off though, we saw a pod of dolphins on the way to home as the sun was setting! We couldn't have asked for more. It was truly an evening we will never forget.

We hired a private boat and had an unforgettable experience! The service was outstanding from start to finish, and Charlie and Larissa made sure everything was perfect. The boat was comfortable, clean, and well maintained. They also took us paddle boating, I was a little scared at first, but they reassured me and made me feel so comfortable that I was able to relax and really enjoy it. They even shared all the history of the city and coast, which made the trip even more special. We truly enjoyed every moment on the water and would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a special and memorable day.

They made our weekend amazing by adding restaurant, beach and city suggestions along with the day on the boat (they were our unofficial tour guides). To add to this, our boat day was the most amazing day of our weekend and made our Algarve experience. The boat is chic and perfect for a couple (or two) or a small family. The food and swim suggestions were catered to the clientele on the boat. Charlie and Larissa are customers first oriented and really tailor the boat day to your preference. Charlie was an excellent skipper, taking us to less crowded places which suited us with lots of beautiful stops for swimming, snorkelling and paddle boarding. 100000% recommend! My girlfriend and I did this trip today (13th August), and while she was initially nervous about going, everything changed the moment we met Charlie and his lovely partner. They instantly made us feel welcome, relaxed, and completely at ease. We kicked things off with a glass of delicious wine while Charlie gave us a tour of the marina, sharing fascinating bits of history along the way. Then we headed out to explore stunning caves, and Charlie made sure we sat right at the front of the boat for the best views. They explained the stories and names behind each cave with so much warmth and detail. The boat itself? SUPER comfortable, it has everything you could possibly want: wine, changing rooms, great showers (perfect after a swim), and plenty of space to relax. We even visited a secluded beach where they kept us in the shallow water so my girlfriend, who’s not a confident swimmer, felt safe. They patiently taught us how to paddleboard and were always nearby for support. Oh, and the playlist on board? Absolute vibe. They’ll even share it with you if you ask. On top of that, they gave us amazing recommendations for hikes, restaurants, and things to do in Lagos. Spending the morning with them was such a privilege — we’d do it again in a heartbeat. P.S. Charlie and his partner are fantastic photographers, so expect plenty of Instagram-worthy shots! Thanks, guys, for such a wonderful experience!

We were a Family of 4 my kids are considered Adults the boat was big enough for us and super maintained. Charles and Larisa were Amazing always with a smile and trying to give their guests more than 100 percent. The tour was very interesting Charles is very knowledgeable of the History of Algarve and the topography of the Coast of the area. We wanted to reach with the boat beautifull swimming spots unreachable from the coast and Charles met our expectations. I recommend this boat and its crew Charles and Larissa

I wish I could give them 6 stars. Charles and Larissa are the most amazing. They are a super sweet couple that make sure you are well taken care of while also giving you your space. Charles is an excellent captain taking you to all the places you want to see and even some you didn’t know you needed. They provide all the drinks, towels, information, and extras that you need. Larissa is even a physiotherapist and gave my wife an amazing massage while on the water. We did this to celebrate our one year anniversary and it was the most fun we have had while in Portugal. I cannot recommend them enough!

Long story short, this was the best experience we had throughout our trip to Lagos. Our itinerary kind of relied on what kind of trip we were in a mood for, but with many recommendations and tips from the Captain, Charles himself - what a great guy, who absolutely loves what he’s doing and you really do feel his passion!!

A great half day with a polite and knowledgeable skipper Charles. We got to see the traditional Algarve cliffs from the sea side, with informative additional explanations. Afterwards we were transported to a nice lagoon where we could swim, paddle on SUP-boards and enjoy complimentary drink, including champagne. All in all, a memorable experience, highly recommended.

Our experience with Charlie and Larissa onboard their lovely boat was brilliant. Really lovely hosts who genuinely want you to have the best day (which we did!). We had never been to Alvor before and wanted to see so we headed there first for some supping and swimming near the sandbanks. A quick stop in Alvor but we were keen to get back to the boat to enjoy! Then we headed to see some of the caves and coves around Lagos and enjoyed more time on the sup boards and swimming. The boat is very comfortable and our teens loved sunbathing on the front as we cruised along listening to some great music admiring the wonderful views. If you want a special experience for a small group or family then do it!

Our family of five just spent the morning with Charlie on his beautiful boat. We had the most wonderful time! He was very knowledgeable about the landscape and history of the area and took us to an area where no one else ended up being so we had our own “private island” on a sandbar for awhile. The boat was very clean and well laid out. If we ever come back, we will definitely be booking a trip with him again!

Today, as a family of four, we went on a tour with Charles and Larissa. From the welcome to the farewell, everything was perfect. After setting off from the port in Lagos, Charles told us a lot about the history of the city and the Algarve, all in a truly entertaining way. We then explored the beautiful coastline around Lagos, and Charles guided us to the most beautiful spots. In a sheltered bay, we were able to swim, snorkel, and use the SUP boards. Larissa took excellent care of us the entire time. We were offered drinks and snacks. Towels were waiting for us when we got out of the water. Larissa and Charles were wonderful hosts who took absolutely fantastic care of us. We thoroughly enjoyed our time on board, and thanks to our hosts, it was a fantastic tour for us. Our experience on the boat was fantastic! We truly had the time of our lives. The boat trip was without a doubt the highlight of our holiday. From the interesting stories about the history of Lagos to the visit to a beautiful private beach where we could relax in peace, it was perfect. A huge thank you to Charles and his wife for this wonderful afternoon on their boat! Their warm welcome and kindness immediately put us at ease. They are adorable, always attentive, and we wanted for nothing. Every little attention, every kind word made this experience even more enjoyable. Even though we speak very little English, we managed to communicate simply and naturally, which really made the difference. The boat was impeccable, extremely clean, and perfectly as described.
