Yacht charter in Lanzarote · Bavaria — Cruiser 30 (2005)

It was a fantastic vacation and we really enjoyed it. Even though the boat is from 2005, it's in very good condition. Some charter boats from 2023 look worse. There are a few minor drawbacks regarding: * Onboard comfort: there's a lack of practical items, such as sufficiently large pots, oven mitts, and a knife. At the same time, there are also some unnecessary things, like plastic flowers that get in the way. * Maintenance: sails, lines, halyards – all in excellent condition and practically brand new. We had some problems with the mostly mechanical autopilot (it fell apart) and the fan belt, which squeaked at higher RPMs, so we sailed as much as possible (sometimes even into the harbor entrance). * Reception and communication: excellent service, although provided by several people, which can sometimes be confusing. The boat is tracked and monitored daily, and there's constant communication; you have to be okay with that. * * ... Important to know: the harbors in this region are very strict regarding reservations and registrations, sometimes requiring three days' notice. Furthermore, all harbors have a "Reception Dock" where you must moor and register before you are allowed to enter. We'd love to come back to this fantastic sailing area!
