Your Dufour 390 GL sailboat is a spacious and well-equipped vessel. It measures 3.99 meters wide and 12 meters long. Its 1.90-meter draft ensures enhanced stability while sailing. Inside, the sailboat features three double cabins, accommodating up to four people in two double cabins, as well as a double cabin reserved for the owner. The onboard television has connections for video games, providing additional entertainment for the occupants. The exterior of the sailboat is equipped with an outdoor galley and a griddle, allowing you to prepare meals al fresco. You also have a tender with a 2.5 hp outboard motor, as well as a paddleboard and snorkeling masks, allowing you to explore the surrounding marine environment. Communication with Jean-Marie was excellent; he responded incredibly quickly to our questions. Jean-Marie is a gifted communicator with everyone on board. He pays attention to those who need it. Despite the headwind, he made the best of it. He always had a plan B in mind. We had seven passengers, and Jean-Marie himself slept in the kitchen, just on the couch, which didn't help his sleep. He was very enthusiastic about our homemade meals and helped out wherever he could. His mooring in Port Camarque was excellent, close to the restrooms and parking. He lent us his bikes and even acted as a taxi when we were going 5km to a gig. We had a fantastic week on board and learned a lot of technical terms. Jean-Marie only speaks French, so we traveled home bilingual. Caution for everything on the water was his motto. Hopefully we can go back someday and really sail around for a week, stopping at a different location every day. We had a great week! The boat is exactly as described, in very good condition, carefully maintained - perfect for a family of 4. As for Jean-Marie, he is an excellent skipper with extensive sailing experience. We always felt safe. Jean-Marie, beyond his role as skipper, is a real travel companion. He taught us a lot about the region, sailing and the sea in general. He is an extremely friendly person, life on the boat went very well. I highly recommend Jean-Marie and his boat to other travelers!
