Our sailboat "Andromeda" has been built in 2003 and been renovated in 2007. It is in continuous maintenance, just to create an unforgettable experience for you and your favorite people. We know that the most important thing for a sailing boat is to be spacious and comfortable, both on deck and indoors, and the Dufour 43 is exactly that! Not only the beautiful line and very spacious four double cabins, but also the double lounge and the two comfortable toilets will make your staying in the boat a unique experience. The boat can accommodate up to 10 people, as it has 8 berths in the 4 cabins plus 2 berths in the saloon. At first we had a very good communication with Thanos and they all seem to be great. The first issue we had since day one, was that the boat didn’t had a holding tank, so every time we visited the bathroom the human waste went to the sea, so literally we were swimming to our own shit, but the captain said that most of the sailboats do that and the fishes are eating the poop,so we shouldn’t be worry about it. The second thing was that the small boat of the sailboat had a small engine and that engine didn’t worked always, so sometimes that we need to use the small boat to approach the sea side, we could only use it with oars. The third issue was that, as the skipper said, the boat has a small anchor, so we couldn’t visit beaches and places that we wanted because of that.
The experience with Athanasios and his skipper, Jony was AMAZING! We will definitely call them again for next trip! They are very professional and yet warm! Highly recommended!
