On Lake Garda you will find a particularly mild climate, rich vegetation and many interesting historical and cultural testimonies. The boat is equipped with everything necessary: bfe 40 hp four-stroke engine, silent, snappy, reliable and with low consumption. The Flyer can also be driven without being in possession of a boat license. A great sailing boat. We had a fantastic couple of days on the lake. The boat sails beautifully and the sailing equipment is very well maintained. The welcome in the morning, instructions and local advice for the days ahead were very good. Very smooth. The service provided and support getting the boat ready was fantastic. They couldn’t have been more accommodating in terms of helping up get our bags and kit on board, and it was extremely clean. Regarding the overnight accommodation, it was not the most convenient given we had to provide all our own linen and cooking equipment. Definitely not the most comfortable boat I have slept on. That said, we had an amazing couple of days. The communication from Pietro and the Garda Boat team was brilliant. Highly recommend this boat for a day hire, or an overnighter if you are prepared to rough it a little!

The draft of 2.10 m on the lake limits a lot
A beautiful sailing boat, good sailing equipment and technique. However, such a large boat with bow thrusters could have been put on better. The fridge is only suitable for cooling bottles as it has no compartments and is very deep. Luckily we had a 12 volt cool bag with us. We were also glad that we had an electric kettle with us, because the two gas burners were very weak and cooking on them was very difficult. We didn't use the oven. The fact that we had to bring all the equipment such as plates, cups, glasses, pots, bowls, cutlery...was also very inconvenient. But in the end we were happy for hygienic reasons. The boat was poorly cleaned shortly before handover and was not really clean, especially the toilet on board. Even when booking, we only received minimalistic or automated answers to our questions. We then encountered some problems on site. So this boat z. B. hardly create in a port on Lake Garda, because it has too high a draft. So where should we stay and hook up to electricity and water? The berth at the charter company was booked for the first night, but there was no possibility to use the sanitary facilities. Since it is a place on the quay wall and there are also several ferries, Lake Garda is very restless there. The next problem was our car. We planned to sail for 5 days. In the area there were only public parking spaces with 24-hour tickets. Our first day was filled with solving all of these problems. We received no support or help from the charter company. When, after 3 days, the on-board toilet caused problems, we had to help ourselves. The seal was probably defective, since the water could not be pumped out completely when it was taken over. The statement of the charter company: We would have taken over the toilet like this and finally used it for 3 days. Maybe we would have flushed something down, which led to a blockage. So one piece of advice for everyone: Check everything carefully when you hand it over. The charter company does not seem to accept damage due to fatigue. In the worst case, this could cost the deposit! The conclusion of our sailing holiday: We simply made the best of it and ultimately had a great time on board and on Lake Garda and we are one experience richer.
Excellent situation with easy parking and top hospitality. Spartan boat but in perfect condition. Stable fast ideal maneuverability.
