Gian Piero is a fantastic host and skipper. His sail boat has all the amenities and is beautiful which adds to the overall experience/ambience. Gian is a true sailor and knows the coves and ocean patterns which allows him to navigate the weather/waves to provide you an enjoyable experience. Lastly, Gian Piero provides that personal touch sharing food (a delicious feta/olive/avocado/salmon salad), wine (a refreshing Vermentino), sailing knowledge and his perspective, all while still allowing the experience to feel private for his guests. Overall, I highly recommend Gian Piero’s boating services. It was well worth the price

Beautiful experience on a boat with the family between the coves of the island of Giglio and the enchanting Giannutri. A heartfelt thanks to Gianpero, who guided us, accompanied us and advised us during these days. Thanks to his excellent knowledge of the place, he allowed us to live this experience to the fullest.
Our trip with Gian Piero was an experience that was nothing short of sensational. The itinerary was Giannutri-Giglio-Argentario, chosen day by day based on the weather conditions. Gian Piero is an expert navigator and a deep connoisseur of this area, and he was able to give us excellent advice on restaurants and experiences along each stop (including some gems less known by tourists). The boat was spacious and well organized despite us being 8 passengers + 2 skippers. From a human point of view, Gian Piero and Cristiana are open, friendly and helpful people, always ready to respond to every need and give very useful advice. We had a great time with Gianpiero! Although we were unlucky with the weather, the captain navigated us out of the rain and found the best route. He is an excellent professional with a lot of experience but also a kind and friendly person. The boat is very nice and well maintained, quite spacious inside. He also offered us Padelboards which we had a lot of fun with! It was a great experience, I would happily return!!
A wonderful experience that lasted an intense weekend of activities and emotions. The McLir boat is beautiful and with all the comforts. The skipper Gianpiero is very good and with Cristiana he showed great ability even in the hours when there was strong wind and rough seas. They showed us beautiful places. We were all very satisfied and will certainly repeat an experience like this, with the same boat. You don't change the crew and crew that win! Everything extremely perfect!! We celebrated a hen party on board, everything went according to plan. Gian Piero is very professional, helpful and friendly and the boat is truly splendid and equipped with all comforts. We can't wait to return!
Boat conforms to the description and expectations
A beautiful holiday, accompanied by Gianpiero and Cristiana with whom we had a great time! Very thoughtful and approachable, they guided us to the island of Elba and to the splendid islands of Giglio and Giannutri (highly recommended) The boat is comfortable and well maintained, equipped with a sup and a mattress in the bow with a very comfortable awning.
+++ Comfortable and functional boat with above average equipment Good governability both under sail and under motor For half of the week the crew consisted of 9 people and we never felt cramped on the boat Gianpiero is very helpful and knows the boat perfectly. communication is easy and direct I recommend - - - Some small breakdowns/malfunctions on non-primary elements. The only downside is the external cleaning and in some parts below deck (galley, some lockers, cabins)

Very positive experience, Gianpiero has safe, careful and experienced navigation in the Giglio, Giannutri and Argentario areas. He knows perfectly the sheltered areas to make the boat experience better, and is very helpful and flexible. The boat is welcoming and functional, perfect for a nice weekend
We spent a very great, eventful and unforgettable week with Gian Piero. (2 adults, 2 children 11 and 14 years old) Gian Piero is very uncomplicated, sociable and can, among other things, cook very finely. You don't just teach sailing from him :) Nice boat and many beautiful bays to discover in this area.

PROS: Excellent maneuverability, large fuel-efficient engine, good stability, comfortable, spacious and comfortable mooring, above-average equipment available. The charter is extremely helpful and friendly CONS: some running maneuvers to review slightly stiff sheets, awkward ladder, the armed anchor (danforth) is not suitable for the depths of the area but a suitable anchor (bruce) is still available as a hand / secondary one, perhaps it would be better reverse them. Excellent experience overall very positive, we will definitely be back.
