It was a wonderful day. Jonny is very friendly, relaxed, and easy-going. The boat is in good condition and well-equipped, easy to steer even for beginners. The surroundings are beautiful, and the locks and bridges respond quickly and easily. Overall, everything is great.

The boat is exactly as described, with everything you need on board. There were three of us and there was plenty of room to sleep. We used the shower in the harbor, but there's also a sink/washbasin on the boat, and you can also swim in the canal (depending on where you dock). Jonny welcomed us very warmly and explained everything thoroughly. We quickly got used to the handling and had no problems with the boat. North Holland is a wonderful region to explore the canals and waterways on a boat like this.

We both had a fantastic weekend, were able to fully enjoy the boat and the surroundings, and were very relaxed ☀️. The boat is very well maintained, very spacious, and easy to maneuver. We had a great weekend despite the rain in between. Communication with Johnny was great, and everything was thought of upon arrival. Very complete boat, sails well.

Great boat, superb owner – highly recommended if you like canals, locks, fries, and cute little towns! :) We rented the "Blue Pearl" from Jonny over Ascension Day and had a fantastic time. Jonny was very friendly, always available, and helpful. The boat was well-equipped: dishes, sheets, coffee, toilet paper – everything was there. There was even a bottle of wine and a cold beer waiting for us in the fridge. There were five of us on board (all adults), and we slept on it. It was cozy, but manageable (you sleep in a large shared space). Our tour took us to Schagen, Medemblik, and Den Oever on the IJsselmeer. We paid around €130 for about 16 hours of motoring. Conclusion: A fantastic experience on the beautiful Dutch canals – we would book again anytime!

Recommended! Great boat, and Jonny is a great guy! We booked at very short notice, but that wasn't a problem either! The boat runs great, even though it's older, but you can see that it's well maintained. We went out on the boat for two days as "beginners" and were thrilled! It certainly wasn't the last time!

Two unforgettable days!! In three hours to the Alkmaarer Meer and then to the island of Nes. Swim there, chill out and enjoy the peace and quiet. The boat runs well and is easy to steer. Jonny fully lives up to his name as a top landlord. Hospitable reception in the port, excellent explanation about the boat, and always available if something is not clear along the way. The Blue Pearl is a spacious, characteristic motor yacht that is well maintained. It was a pleasure to sail it for three days. We sail mostly in Friesland, but North Holland was a discovery. In three days from Nieuwe Niedorp, via the Zaan, Amsterdam and the IJsselmeer to Monnickendam, and then back inland. A beautiful trip with a nice boat. Thanks Johnny!

We had a nice adventure on Jonny's nice boat, definitely recommended to experience what it is like to spend a few days on the water, sail through locks and spend a night in a harbor. We liked it a lot.

Most fully equipped really everything is there drink coffee the milk water wine beers cleaning products toilet paper kitchen towels, even sunglasses for the skipper have been thought of We'll be back for sure Ann, Luc & Jeff

Last weekend we rented this beautiful boat. A very nice experience richer! Everything well organized and very complete. Enough space to sleep and sit comfortably, good power supply and good contact with the landlord. So recommended and worth repeating!

Everything is wonderful. The communication with the landlord Jonny was great. Before renting, he answered various questions and calmly explained the boat to us on site. The boat is in very good condition and is very easy to maneuver thanks to the bow thruster. We drove from the boat harbor via the canals to the Alkmaardermeer (about 3-4 hours) and spent the weekend there. The boat has everything on board, so we didn't go to a marina at all, just anchored. The boat has a surprisingly low consumption of diesel.

The boat is an excellent choice for such an old animal. Very spacious boat with all the trimmings. Everything you need is basically on board. The owner (John) is very accessible and friendly. Boat sails well. Rotates on its axis. With the bow thruster it is completely easy to moor, even when the wind is blowing. Boat is an old diesel. We sailed more than 250 km, defied numerous bridges and locks. Sailed across the Waddenzee, IJselmeer & Markermeer. Boat sails through the canal with 1500 rpm nice and quiet. With 1900 - 2100 rpm on the lakes fine. 2300 is the max. Could maybe be raised a little to 2500 to be able to catch up or sail somewhere fast. The many windows are nice during the day, but also its disadvantage at night. Lots of light for people like us who are used to roller shutters. There is no boiler on board. So boiling water for washing up is a must. But you still have time. We were 2 on board. More beds can be made. Up to 5 I believe. Then you always have to convert the table and bench. Perhaps the only tip: make sure you have 4 low same ropes at the points for mooring and two shorter ones for the middle deck. The ropes on board are all different and the length is not always sufficient in a box with poles. Conclusion: great boat for a short or long holiday.

Super comfortable and stable boat. We were very warmly welcomed in Nieuwe Niedorp and were given an explanation about the boat. We spent a whole week on the boat. It was also nice sailing on the IJ. We really liked it and will definitely do it again.

Jonny's boat is well maintained and highly recommended. The condition of the furnishings & technology is tip top. The bow thruster allows you to maneuver very well despite the length and the boat is surprisingly fuel-efficient (if you drive all day around 60 euros depending on your driving style). Inside you have everything you could want from USB charging adapters, crockery, kitchen rolls, umbrellas, refrigerator, gas hob & electric toilet etc. to a dimmable starry sky in the outside area, so that you can also enjoy the evenings with a glass of wine let it fade away comfortably on the boat. The landlord Jonny himself is a real treasure, uncomplicated & always helpful, gladly again!

Rented the boat from Jonny and his lovely partner. A very neat and very experienced Hooveld 860 from 1980 that is very practical to use: a fixed double bed in the front or for 3 kids - easy. A handy dining area for 4 - which can be converted into a double bed, a cozy sitting / sofa bed in the wheelhouse and on the aft, covered, space for 6 adults. And you can easily stay all around, in front and on the steel deck roof of the front cabin and wheelhouse. And that is not possible on all boats in this class. 2.40 high, so you don't have to wait for a bridge very often. The diesel runs fine. Handy bow thruster. All electronics work, neatly painted, boat recently painted and the feeling that you can sail around on a top-maintained ship. Kitchenette toilet, good fridge and Jonny will prepare drinking water for you. We have left a fine bottle of white wine for the next tenant, or Jonny. Great boat. We would like to have something like that ourselves.

Beautiful 2 days sailing with this boat. The steering was easy to do, partly due to the smoothly operating bow thruster. The interior also looked super neat and all the necessities from pans to toilet paper were present. Furthermore, good and quick contact with the owner and clear explanation received prior to departure. We thought it was one of the most beautiful boats in the marina and had a great time.
