A fun and affordable day on the water... This super-fast steel punt takes you anywhere on the water, under any bridge... and along the Vecht River. Also perfect for fishing or rowing, as a team-building activity. Family Day Out Enjoy a boat trip on the Vecht River, swim in the Spiegelplens lake, through the locks to the Loosdrechtse Plassen or Vinkeveense Plassen lakes, sailing to Amsterdam or Weesp Muiden (except Amsterdam-Rhine Canal) (no vignette for Amsterdam canals) Standard equipped with a 6 hp Suzuki engine, 12-liter fuel tank, and cushion set Available at an additional cost: -life jackets for the little ones -swimming ladder -beanbag chair -anchor -supply board with rope -barbecue -water locker Starting point Nigtevecht, near Fort Hinder Dam Boarding and departure times are flexible, possible between 9:00 AM and 10:00 PM. I've rented 2 boats with a party of 8 people and we had a fantastic day on the water. Gert-Jan was very accommodating both in welcoming us with a short explanation of the boats, handling and tips & tricks. Boat was fine. Also enough power. Moored twice and both times I couldn't get it to start despite the choke. When returning I accidentally pushed the engine forward and couldn't get it straight again. The lever that is supposed to do that didn't work. So it was complicated to get the boat to the jetty. I have rented a boat before so I am quite experienced. Still I couldn't get the engine straight in the water again. All in all a very nice day.

I would like to share my experience about the boat I recently rented. It was an excellent experience and I am very satisfied with the boat and its owner. Firstly I would like to emphasize that the owner of the boat is a fantastic person - very friendly and polite. The boat itself was great! It was in excellent condition and very clean. Everything worked perfectly and I had no problems during my rental period. It was a real pleasure to cruise along the beautiful waterways with this boat. I highly recommend this boat to anyone looking for a great boating experience. The owner is reliable and the boat is totally worth it. I am confident that other people will also enjoy their time on this boat, just as I did.

we had a great day on the boat. Good communication. Highly recommended. Maybe the engine is too noisy and the one next to it gets a headache. A little shade would be ideal on hot days. But all in all we had a great day
We had a great afternoon with Gerd Jan's boat. The setting is beautiful and the boat is lovely and very easy to drive. Gerd-kan is also very helpful and a pleasant landlord. I definitely recommend it!
Great boat for a day trip on the Vecht. Gert Jan is nice and friendly and arranging business with him is also fine. Maybe 1 small tip. A ladder that you can hang from the boat when you go swimming so that you can get back into the boat more easily if you are not at a jetty with stairs. Everything else fine.
