Yacht charter in Piombino · Jeanneau — Sun Odyssey 410 (2021)

I rented the "BELLA" boat in the belief of finding a new boat in a good state of maintenance, as it was also recently built. Instead, I found a vehicle in very poor condition in terms of systems: -plotter not working - autopilot not usable - electrical system with continuous problems and inability to have running water available for more than 50 continuous seconds, due to overheating of the pump - external shower not working - Cockpit LED lights not working - tender with battery-powered electric motor which ran out of battery after a very short time and the boat's inverter was not able to recharge it (12 hours needed connected to the 220) - still mounted upside down (with the plowshare facing upwards) which almost always fits into its housing, etc... What was supposed to be a relaxing holiday with my family turned into a training course for aspiring boat maintainers. I reported all these problems and the result was being told that it was our fault that we didn't know how to use the tools (on board we had a Skipper with 30 years of experience at sea) Very bad experience, I strongly advise against it to everyone.

Bad experience, we had the same problems as those who had rented the boat before us (therefore no maintenance). Other problems have been added, broken gangway, lights not working, faulty tender battery, etc...

We checked in with a nice welcome from the base team. The air conditioning turned out to be a mistake in communication from Click&Boat. Furthermore, the ship was very clean. During our 3 week trip there was a laundry list of maintenance points. Oa. 2 shower heads broken, leakage from the water system, door clamps, hold-down bolts not present, swim platform lock defective, etc. Apparently times have been tough for a 2021 ship. We had a wonderful holiday and were able to transfer the points well before/during check out. Nice team!
